FAO: Phil / Gav: Budgies infiltrating TWTD 14:48 - Nov 1 with 5111 viewspennblue

Pretty obvious I think that there are some budgies on here, determined to try and run the club down.

I don't want to name names, but they are some pretty consistent posters that are trying to do this.

What is your policy for this?

Does it really? REALLY? I seriously doubt PC or any of his staff give two hoots for ANY of the opinions on here. They'd be fools to bother. Do the job they way they want and live and die by that. Not Ooooh Bluefish has a COOK OUT avatar, what in Stan Boardman's name am I going to do to turn that around?!?! Or that Chris Makin talks a lot of sense, maybe I should get him in to motivate the players!! Oh and footers, what a guy, loyal to the end! Goodness if TWTD had a few more like Footers we'd be as good as up by now!!

Dearie me.

I'm retired from football now in any case - can't take this pain - what proper Norwich fans who go to games must be feeling right now is an unbearable thought.

I'm glad you said feeling rather than thinking there because it would be uncharitable to say even sea anenomes can react to stimulus.

It is great to have differing opinions, but there are posters, that are just continually running down the manager and the club. It has a hugely negative impact on the football club, the manager and the team, so why would any supporter want to do that?

They can be annoying I agree, but it’s a massively wild blub to suggest they are having a negative impact on the club, manager and team!

I can't verify it, but I would expect some of the players read this forum, or have comments passed back to them through others.

People will always question managerial appointments / tactics / performance. But I just feel that it has started to get out of hand.

I don't think it is helpful, and I want everyone to just get behind the club, the manager and the team, because I think we can have success this season if we do that.

Do I believe that negativity on social media / forums can have a negative impact, yes I do, absolutely, 100%, do I have any evidence? No, I don't.

If there is a problem on TWTD for bashing the team, I would hazard a guess that the news comments section is much more of problematic than the forums are. The news comments are usually fairly vocal when things go wrong - largely to do with the fact that it is much more 'Twitter' like as a mental dumping ground. On the forums, people are much more likely in a position to discuss and then take lumps out of one another rather than the club.

As you're probably no doubt aware, the area of social media law is booming right now, much like being a scientist in the age of decreasing oil miners. A boom time, my friend. Glad I picked that Bebo law conversion course now.

Pass on my best for Mel Hazlewood, never really a first-team starter - but always gives his best.

He was never going to be able to repeat his best work - the pecker case was the Cistern Chapple of his legal pile.

For us relative newbies on here, how did Ulla announce his arrival on here. Was it "Hi I'm a scummer but can I be your friend please?" or did he come out slowly?

I think he went on holiday to Hopton once, and played swing-ball with Robert Rosario.

Akin to Bully playing table-tennis in Harry Redknapp's utility room, and subsequently becoming the Tourist Information Centre for Poole, that was enough to wed him to that lot.

I do agree that posting negative things can be damaging to both the self and others, but we come in all different flavours as humans, none of us are perfect and always positive.

In your previous post you asked why people do it. A few reasons, some people are pessimistic about life, others more optimistic. Sometimes someone is just struggling with something or having a bad day, so they get into more negative thinking. Other times people deliberately post negative posts to get a reaction, they derive satisfaction from upsetting others as it's a way to get rid of their negative feelings by passing them onto others which provides them with a dopamine hit.

What is the use of knowing about everything else, when you do not yet know who you are.

The answer to the question 'what proper Norwich fans are feeling' is 'the same as always - their sisters'.
