....my thoughts on this are 'this is exactly the sort of performance that cost Cook his job and why some thought he should have kept it'.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Yep. How we haven't won that I don't know. Sunderland awful Ipswich actually a better side but why we just switch off I don't know.

You have forgotten to repeat us for 187th time what an unfit, lazy, fat Norwood is.

I actually think the players looked more up for it than they have done for a long time. Probably partly due to the occasion and the size of the crowd.

Speaking for the defence......

We gave the ball to the midfield and they were too scared to pass the ball forward 'cos we might lose it so they passed it back to us, again. (repeat ad nauseum).
We were set up yer honour - it was entrapment.

Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?

That sums it up quite nicely. One very good half, one half gone missing. Oh well.

But, no offence, you’re a hot-take idiot who rarely understands what they’re talking about.

You’re out of your depth, Mr One-Liner.

If Norwood had the game time he would be up there with Bonne on goals scored & we would be be above Sunderland

Any of it down to fitness? Tho you'd have thought after a ht sit-down & cuppa they'd be refreshed, so I guess more an attitude thing.

Whatever your views of his off field issues - the fact is he probably would.

Even if your hypothetical were true, he's still an unprofessional arse who should have no business representing the Club of Ramsey and Robson.

That's an opinion rather than a fact. But to think that simply putting Norwood in the side earlier in the season would be the difference between us being midtable and top 3 is one hell of a take. We've not won a game he's played in yet.

I thought we played well generally... we looked most likely to win it and having let the goal in we fought back and didn't capitulate. Positives... we saw very little of that under Cook towards the end.

Considering the poor form and the lack of confidence that comes with it, I was generally happy that we stayed in the game; I feared the worst after the first 15 minutes of the second half.

Plenty there to build on!

Not true.

We had a Shiite 15 in the second half, but were otherwise very good.

Agreed. They pressed really well in the first ten mins of the second half to get back into and credit to them. They came out flying and we were on our heels a bit. After that we grew into the half and shaded it. I’d like to have seen Fraser come on. One thing we’re mot doing is getting centre kids beyond the strikers. That system is tailor made for it. Lee and Gilbey did well for Charlton doing that at The Valley.
