You still get the sensation that at some point in the next few years, he'll go on loan somewhere else and tear us apart though don't you?
The way he's rated you'd expect him to go on and have a very decent career. Just not ready for this level at present. Had a few like that over the years, Jake Livermore being another.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

Doesn’t really matter when Ashton is in charge!
Yep. Cook was the last of the managers making the transfer decisions all by himself. The new recruitment team etc Ashton is building behind the scenes will kick in now. I wouldn’t say players will be signed against managers wishes, but it’ll be more these players are put to the manager, rather than the manager looking for the players himself.

I think that was even the case for some players even under Cook.

Hard to argue against that with the squad messes and manager churn we've endured in the last few years.
No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.
