My first Ipswich Team on 11:47 - Jan 20 with 937 views | rosinante84 | Alania Vladikavkaz 1 - Ipswich 2, Feb 2002 Ipswich had a jolly in Cyprus for a week's training camp (FA cup weekend I think) and played a friendly against a Russian team. They played on an army garrison Dhekelia, and all proceeds went to The Army Benevolent Fund. I was based at RAF Akrotiri at the time as a teenager with my dad, and took a coachload with others from the camp across the island. It was like watching a Sunday league game, with players sat on plastic chairs and the few hundred fans stood on the touchline. We all got to meet the players, I chatted with Sheepshanks and Marshall, and went for a piss at half time not realising it was their changing rooms...so I had George and Reuser either side of me in the latrines. There was a good crowd of Norwich fans too supporting Alania Marshall (Sereni) Makin (Gaardsoe) Hreidarsson Clapham Bramble Holland Magilton George (Miller) Wright (Reuser) Counago Stewart Goals from George and Counago [Post edited 20 Jan 2022 14:00]

Same i cant find the team sheet. We won 3-1 at home to Brighton in 1992. Whitton got two and cant remember who go the 3rd. We had nearly or just won the league by then.

Will Norris Janoi Donacien Luke Woolfenden James Wilson Luke Garbutt Flynn Downes Andre Dozzell Jon Nolan Gwion Edwards Alan Judge Will Keane
| They'd all laugh at me if they knew what I was trying to do. To create a new strain of super-wine in half-an-hour with a fraction of nature's resources and a FOOL for an assistant. 'Bernard Black, he's mad,' they'd say, 'he's insane, he's dangerous.' Well I'll show them! I'll show them all! | Poll: | What hurt more? |
