Laurie Sivell

Mick Mills
Russell Osman
John Wark
George Burley
Steve McCall
Arnold Mühren
Paul Mariner
Alan Brazil
Kevin O'Callaghan

Mills & Brazil scored! Ipswich won under the floodlights!

I can't find the team sheet or info from the game but it was a dour 0-0 draw at home to Derby County on a cold midweek game.

Gus Uhlenbeek was our right back.

Alania Vladikavkaz 1 - Ipswich 2, Feb 2002

Ipswich had a jolly in Cyprus for a week's training camp (FA cup weekend I think) and played a friendly against a Russian team. They played on an army garrison Dhekelia, and all proceeds went to The Army Benevolent Fund. I was based at RAF Akrotiri at the time as a teenager with my dad, and took a coachload with others from the camp across the island. It was like watching a Sunday league game, with players sat on plastic chairs and the few hundred fans stood on the touchline. We all got to meet the players, I chatted with Sheepshanks and Marshall, and went for a piss at half time not realising it was their changing rooms...so I had George and Reuser either side of me in the latrines. There was a good crowd of Norwich fans too supporting Alania

Marshall (Sereni)
Makin (Gaardsoe)
Hreidarsson
Clapham
Bramble
Holland
Magilton
George (Miller)
Wright (Reuser)
Counago
Stewart

Good question. I had to look it up but the team was:

Hancock
Mills
McNeil
Harper
Jefferson
Baxter
Brogan
Viljoen
Crawford
O’Rourke
Hegan

We beat Cardiff 4-2 with goals from Crawford, O’Rourke (2) and Brogan.

Same i cant find the team sheet.

We won 3-1 at home to Brighton in 1992. Whitton got two and cant remember who go the 3rd. We had nearly or just won the league by then.

Mine should definitely be guessable as it is very recent (I actually followed Ipswich for five years before I ever went to a match, because I only started properly following them at the beginning of the season of this match).

Will Norris
Janoi Donacien
Luke Woolfenden
James Wilson
Luke Garbutt
Flynn Downes
Andre Dozzell
Jon Nolan
Gwion Edwards
Alan Judge
Will Keane

They'd all laugh at me if they knew what I was trying to do. To create a new strain of super-wine in half-an-hour with a fraction of nature's resources and a FOOL for an assistant. 'Bernard Black, he's mad,' they'd say, 'he's insane, he's dangerous.' Well I'll show them! I'll show them all!

Bit of a guess at the formation but apparently the team was :

Arran Lee-Barrett

Liam Rosenior
Damien Delaney
Gareth Mcauley
Jaime Peters

Owen Garvan (sub Lee Martin)
Grant Leadbitter
David Norris (sub Pablo Counago)
Jack Colback

Stern John (sub Connor Wickham)
Jon Walters

Not a lot of width in that side. Beat Coventry 3-2 though. Stern John scored the first Ipswich goal I ever saw.
