Cocaine and football violence 17:25 - Feb 8 with 4174 views | gtsb1966 | Never thought I would see the day when something different to booze would be the main contributor to football violence. Never had it myself so wouldn't know what it does to a person. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/60300610
Cocaine and football violence on 17:34 - Feb 8 with 3059 views | SitfcB | Cocaine use is definitely rife amongst fans and has been for a while. Seen/heard it for myself this season from away fans in an Ipswich pub. [Post edited 8 Feb 2022 17:39]

Cocaine and football violence on 17:38 - Feb 8 with 3027 views | LeoMuff | Spent an unpleasant 90 mins at Plymouth in close proximity to a chap clearly coked to the eyeballs, spent the entire match facing the home fans shouting abuse and waving his arms around, his mates gave up on him after 25 mins, the stewards got so fed up he got the boot around 80. Made it completely unpleasant for anyone within 10m of him.

Cocaine and football violence on 17:41 - Feb 8 with 2964 views | blueasfook | Make the penalties same as being drunk at a game. Prospect of a long ban, etc. Should make them think twice about snorting charlie before a game. Why would you even go to a game coked up? Cant see the fun in that myself.

I think you're confusing cocaine with ketamine with that one BB.
Cocaine and football violence on 19:21 - Feb 8 with 2455 views | Kentish_Tractor | I am ashamed to say I succumbed to peer pressure many moons ago in my student days on freshers week and met Charlie once. For those of you lucky enough to have not tried it - basically it gives you an intense rush and completely removes your self control. Any slight antagonisation and you can lose it. Followed by intense feeling of depression on the come-down. Had no inclination to go near the stuff ever again and found new friends. Think they should bring more sniffer dogs to games to identify coked up fans and give them bans. Horrible stuff.

I had the (mis)pleasure of sitting with the Col Utd fans for the Pizza Trophy game. There was a sniffer dog at the turnstile. Unsure if it was checking for Covid or Drugs. Probably sausages.

You're an intelligent bloke. Maybe have a rethink and maybe edit your response? Cocaine production in Colombia are at record levels, deaths and missing persons attributed to organised crime at an all time high in Mexico. The distribution here fuels the criminals leading to increased violent and weapon related crime. Your habit kills people and ruins many more lives across the globe. I'm going to get a whoosh aren't I?

To be fair, alcohol use contributes to crime, violence, murder and abuse the world over.

I watched Millwall play Sheffield United from the main stand a few years ago (think our game was postponed) and there was a distinct fog in the toilets from the amount of cannabis being smoked, all very civilised with it though.

Cocaine and football violence on 19:42 - Feb 8 with 2244 views | JakeITFC | Like most things, it's a societal thing rather than just a football thing. Cocaine is absolutely everywhere nowadays - rare to go into a pub toilet on pretty much any day of the week and not cross paths with someone waiting for a cubicle or whatever.

I'm not sure that me having a few pints down the pub has the same influence on the issues mentioned as cocaine but I'm genuinely interested in understanding if it does. No sarcasm intended by the way, I appreciate you said contributed.

Trouble is, it’s not just you having a few pints. The social and economic costs of alcohol are huge. Not that drugs are any better. Both cause massive issues.

Where do you think your Amazon goods are made? Or how the metals for our tech is harvested? Prohibition = Black market. You are looking at the symptom and not the cause.

Look at some domestic violence stats. FYI charlie isn’t my habit, it’s a sh1t drug. But again, booze is worse and you’ve probably worked with plenty of Coke heads who were fine and normal.
