Have to feel for him a bit, thrown under the bus by ME and elevated to wearing multiple hats, none of which seemed to fit. Papering over cracks and trying to tow the party line amidst significant corner cutting from those above him. Seemed to conduct himself the right way which isn't always easy when surrounded by fools. Right thing for all parties I would say.

Spot on. I note that he will remain a Trustee of the Commjnity Trust so is presumably staying local and not planning on working for a rival.
