That sacking Paul cook has NOT worked out and in future we should give our managers a minimum of 2 transfer windows unless we are clearly bottom three

I am quite sure he would have got us top six as his style of play, when executed consistently would result in top two form

Poll: How are we going to try and undermine the manager today?

I had him on ignore for months but had taken him off as at times the board was just unreadable as is just omnipresent - but have had to put him back on and it's now back to barely useable on the football side of posts again.

I'll wave my imaginary red card here to the board admin

You should fight fire with fire - get him on Blue Monday for a chat!

Cook was a disaster; and a disgrace - he just enjoyed being 'demolition man' and trying to ruin some good plyers' careers - fortunately most of them have found a good place elsewhere

After his usual start of 'Aren't I great' antics at Chesterfield he's now saying he doesn't trust his players as they slip down the table; ready for more demolition if they dont have the sense to get rid of him

KM still learning, and we're getting to see more evidence of the squad weaknesses, but a proper manager and good bloke who with time will do well for us and himself Whether he gets that time from Gamechanger if no promotion next season we'll see, but a massive upgrade on Cook

"fortunately most of them have found a good place elsewhere"

What, a League 2 relegation battle with Colchester?!

Oh yeah, Colchester a nice place for yet another easy payday

Do you actually do anything other than try to monopolise the conversation on here???

Seriously...., every thread I catch up on seems to have at least one contribution from yourself. That ain't healthy....

Completely agree, it's impossible to engage in any kind of debate with the guy too. Having him on ignore makes you realize how he floods the board, it's sometimes like every other post is blank now. Not ideal either.

The only thing wrong with his sacking was the timing - it was 6 weeks to late.

I don't like this hounding of a poster who's fairly inoffensive. If you don't agree with a post just fire a downarrow and move onto something else, like one of my erudite and thought-provoking missives!

I don't think the facts back that up though.

Won 1 of his last 4 games, won none of his first 6 (Morecambe, Burton, Cheltenham, MK, Wimbledon, Bolton).

I think the overhaul he undertook was very much needed, the players he bought in I have been largely very happy with, but he wasn't the man to get the tune out of them.

I find it hard to believe anybody doesn't think we have made significant improvements under KM. The man is regarded as one of the very bets young coaches in the UK, if not Europe, and he has seamlessly taken to management like a duck to water.

I've said it many times before, but I must see completely different things to other fans.

It’s chalk and cheese between Cook and McKenna isn’t it. We actually play as a team again. Sure, there’s work to do, but we’re in a much better place.

I’m not entirely sure whether the OP was being serious or sarcastic though!

From memory the OP was critical of Cook’s sacking from the off; think it’s sincere.

Is it the YouGov petitions where you have to have 100,000 signatures for an issue to go before parliament?

Maybe Phil and Gav can do similar here where 100 people putting the same person on ignore means a referendum on whether to bin them off!

yeah, it's sincere, they were very vocally upset by the Cook sacking.

Quite the achievement though, to get 54 downvotes, from a post that isn't offensively written or having a pop at anyone!
