He's been dealt a bad hand at Chesterfield, to be fair to him. Two best players get season ending injuries in the game before he started(one of them is still the top scorer in the league despite being out for months) and just not worked. Like here, he should be doing better but you'd imagine he'd get them up next year, especially if Wrexham win the league as it's looking like they will and that's the biggest team out of there. |  |

Yeah. Really weird take to think otherwise. Given how dreadful he was, Cook has had possibly the best treatment of any recent managers. Not sure he had any of the personal venom others did which makes a nice change. |  |

The thing is, he seems like a really nice guy, but it looks like his career might be done. He must rue the day that he came here but couldn't persuade Richardson to come with him.
Could have been all so different if he did, and he'd still be one of the most sought after managers at this level. |

You were just dispassionately listing events in Cook's recent life. There's no malice in it. Just a simple set of facts, and his dad's death will have been one of the more significant ones.
An awful thing to happen for anyone. It must have effected his performance and absolutely have sympathy with him, so it has to be mentioned even if a little sensitive.

No, stick to your guns. People seem to be forgetting just how much the feel good factor that we started this season with had drained away under Cook's management. Professionally, he's stunk the place out at both ourselves and Chesterfield. All the complaints he made about BOTH ITFC squads that he worked with are getting repeated at Chesterfield. It's becoming clearer and clearer that as far as Cook is concerned, No Richardson, no clue. [Post edited 2 May 2022 0:10]
