I disagree. Campaigning politics works at a certain level, and we always need people like that. But it doesn’t work at head of state and international level where politics becomes the art of the possible and necessary compromise to get the best deal for everyone. I don’t think JC could do that. |
That's a pretty narrow line to take. I think having relevant policies is the real deal-breaker.

It’s been a very interesting thread. People seem to get very precious and sensitive about others “telling it like it is” for Farage and GB News. In some cases, even before anybody actually said anything.

Reading more about the Labour Right, it seems that a slavish defence of right-wing politics and contrasting phobia for the left (and even social democracy) is their basic purpose in life.
