I have for a long time hoped Bournemouth go down and fade back into insignificance, this does nothing to stop me wanting to see that, in fact it increases that desire
I was at the game with Forest where Moore scored to get them promoted — went into town after the game and assumed it would be pretty lively but ... absolutely dead, just nothing, could hardly believe it. It's just not a place that really wants or needs a top-flight football club.
A bit as 3 of their 4 games have been against Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal that was always a difficult start for any club and not the games which would define their season.

YES
In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

A ridiculous decision, bearing in mind who they have played so far.
Liverpool & Man City away plus Arsenal at home is a very tough start indeed.
They have had 1 winnable game which they won.

I cannot say I have warmed to Scott Parker over the years, he always looks on the verge of a rage or a crying fit when he is interviewed, his dress sense is that of a fifteen year old and he is one of the many 'modern' managers whose first instinct seems to be to stifle the opposition rather than give us fans a decent game of football to watch. However, after seeing the highlights on Saturday's 'Match of the Day' and observing the time that Jurgen Klopp appeared to have for him both before and after the match I think there has to be something of good manager in there.
So my reading of this at the moment is that Bournemouth are the perfect storm of moneyball owners, player power and indifferent support. We have suffered from the first two of those during almost all of the Evans era and I hope McKenna can see the good position he is in to build a first class career in management by staying where he is for a while now that a better structure is in place, should the likes of Bournemouth come sniffing around.

"his dress sense is that of a fifteen year old"
But I've never seen him with his trousers, or jeans, half way down his legs, with his underpants on show to all?

Why?
For me, it's because they're an archetypal sugar daddy club, funded by Russian money who were presented as being a 'little team done good' story as they cheated and sh1thoused their way out of the Championship.
Lower league outfit on Russian steroids.
Edit: Oh, and Harry Redknapp

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.
A ridiculous decision, bearing in mind who they have played so far.

Quite. They even started the game above Liverpool in the table. Maybe Klopp should've been fired before getting the chance to win 9-0!?
It's worth remembering that we took three points off Man Utd the year they beat us 9-0! Losing away at Liverpool is no disgrace, and although 9-0 is problematic for more than just goal difference, it's too early to conclude that Bournemouth are on course for relegation. Avoiding relegation this year must surely be their only target. They're above Everton, Wolves and Leicester, and although at least some of those teams are likely to overtake them, as you say, Bournemouth have had a hard start. No reason to think they've failed already.

Good to see our former goalkeeper continue this theme by referring to Dean Court as a 'non-league ground':
