Really putting pressure on Wes Burns in that right sided role, but more so on harness and Chaplin for that left sided 10 role as well

Him and Davis forming a lovely little partnership there - a player I love to watch and think he's really going to bang at the door even more in next few weeks until he is starting regularly

Currently I’d have him in ahead of both Harness and Chaplin who I don’t think have been at it the last few games.

Agreed. And prefer him on the left personally. Feel he could have started a few more games recently. Would like to see him start at The Valley on Saturday.

Doesn't work for me on the right and I don't think he's pushing Wes personally

His best work is on the left and cutting in - Chaplin should be looking over his shoulder more so than Harness these past few games or so

The more games Edwards gets it'll also offer a little more confidence whilst securing consistency. The young fella could be huge for us the remainder of the season if he keeps improving

Him and Davis on the left is scary for other teams.

Little things like Edwards weight of pass for Davis' cross which allowed him to hit it first time. Good to see.

Chaplin tends to play on the right with his good link up play with Burns and JD so feels more a Harness replacement

I think Kyle Edwards is far better on the left than on the right and is worth a place in the side on current form but, in my opinion, it has to be on the left.

It was not entirely his fault because the passes to him were poor but at Morecambe recently he was not in the game on the right but as soon as he moved to the left, he came alive.

I think it's Harness and Chaplin he's challenging, rather than Burns. Burns looked a threat last night, it's a big call to leave him out.

Much more complete game on show in recent weeks too. He’s always been direct and good at carrying the ball but has looked really mature in possession too lately, especially when he’s played more centrally. Really sensible use of the ball last night.

I'd put him ahead of Harness right now personally. As you say him and Davis are working really well - his ability to cut onto his right or drive down the line on his left means he draws multiple defenders which frees up space for Davis.

A quicker decision maker as well and can carry the ball up the pitch under pressure. Was a great moment last night when he received the ball near our box from their corner and drove it up into the middle of their half which forced them back and us up and suddenly we had switched from defence to attack in seconds.

Great to see him finally start to put together complete performances he threatened to do in flashes when he first joined.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

Gives teams more to think about too. Do they double up on Edwards. Or Davis. Or Burns or Jackson etc etc.

Cliché, but he's been like a new signing & a bloody good one at that.

I can't be alone in all but writing him off, after last season. Completely different player this season. So much more confident and an end product to go with the pace and trickery.

Fair play to him, he's been excellent & I actually hope to see him on the team sheet now.

Definitely had some great coaching. Said a few weeks ago something different about him. More composed, not trying flicks and tricks everytime he gets the ball.

Edwards has looked a different player in the last month, huge step forward in maturity and effectiveness. And agree he's knocking on the door for a first team place.

But in parallel Burns is returning to the form we expected last season, on the right, despite his comrade Donacien not fully firing.

Both Chaplin and Harness seem a little off form of late, not sure the rotation is suiting them to be honest. JJ similarly.

I think Jackson is also making a real case to be the starting striker. Ladapo runs hot and cold.

These are all great problems to have for McKenna. But it's going to be a challenge to keep everyone firing, happy and engaged. I wonder if Camara might be planned to be used in the front 3, due to his energy?

In terms of form, Kyle's definitely amongst our best 3 right at this moment. If you gets on a run of goal contributions, I suspect he'll become a fixture (or as near to a fixture as any forward is in this team!).

I said pre-season that he wasn't far off putting it all together and being a tremendous player for us.

He's been brilliant, look at the winning goal from last night, they are worried about leaving Edwards one on one which creates space for Davis/Humphreys.

I’m ok with this, I really don’t rate harness. He constantly gives the ball away with a poor first touch or a loose pass. I hope he comes good, think there’s a player in there

Different players who bring different strengths to different games.

Harness high intensity, direct drive with pace and unpredictability

Chaplin great workrate, shoots from range and stretches teams

Edwards fantastic dribbling, tricky and draws fouls

All have a huge part to play and isn't simply a case of who starts ahead of who but who is right for any given game. We're lucky to have the options.

More of a threat on the left for me, but can do a job either side which is very useful for us/him. His confidence is sky high and he's playing with great freedom which has to come from McKenna's advice/guidance. Has that rare ability to effortlessly run at/past people and is starting to have an end product now. Should be a great player for as season progresses.

I think the word “comrade” should be reserved for our players on the left

If that interchange had been put together between two mid-table Premiership players then it still would have been singled out for praise on MotD.

Chaplin has been very poor last few games, far too loose with the ball for my liking. Id start him over Chaplin personally.

Before last night I thought he was more effective coming off the bench. He was very good starting last night. Long may that continue. I think McKenna will still rotate according to who best suits the opposition we are facing.

Like him on the tbh and he’s form has made the injury to Aluko not significant for us. Potentially could be a diamond for us this season

I think a 4-3-3 is looking pretty attractive, with Humphreys as left-sided midfielder, Ball holding, and Morsy as right-sided, and a front three of Edwards, Ladapo and Burns.
