As has been widely mooted he’s going to be recalled by Swansea in the next day with Derby & us bidding for him. Argyle have tried to keep him but can’t compete financially. I know it’s been rumoured of our interest but this has come from a contact at Plymouth end. Apologies if wrong & I’m not trying to be a def info merchant, but if true then our intent is clear. Could be wrong but I think this is the first window that they can.

My tiny bit of info is that Piggot returning in Jan. can’t imagine he’ll be in our plans, so must have somewhere lined up for him, maybe a loan to buy with Portsmouth helping a bit with wages.

What a farce if they can pay a loan fee but not a transfer fee! Effectively simply a limit on the number of transfers they can make due to the limit on number of loans. |  |

To be fair, that article is simply Schumacher saying they are progressing well where they are and their parent clubs should be happy for them to stay. He is correct but it is no guarantee that the parent clubs see it the same way. | |
