Apart from the civilian bit at the end he is correct.
McKenna should not have mentioned it. Also, the cup final bit is just silly. I expect some Town fans to come out with that but I don’t expect it from the manager.
Every team in this league is here on merit, one way or another. To say it’s their cup final when there is Derby, Sheff Wed and Bolton in the league is ridiculous. They have also played the likes of Sunderland recently.

This. Barton is a complete … and I’d hate him being our manager but McKenna talking about the apology and calling it their cup final was arrogant and unnecessary. And frankly, if he wasn’t feeling the pressure, then I’d think he didn’t realise what’s at stake. | |
