He was so highly rated at youth level, a regular for England and iirc was a serious target for Liverpool. Shame to see his career faltering. |  |

The problem is with these ratings is that they rate specific things and not every player does them - and also if frequently used as a sub you get low ratings - that is why Bradley Dack is on there as an example. |  |

Unpopular opinion no doubt but I alway thought he was vastly overrated, presumably because of his name.
If the opposition sat back and watched him play then he could hurt them. As soon as a tackle went in on him however he disappeared completely from the game. He had no physical presence at all and was completely unsuited to League 1 football. Judging by these stats not a lot changed at QPR!
For his sake I hope he can turn it around but he’s running out of time to show the potential he was supposed to have. |  | | |

You're right. If you go on the who scored website and order the players in rating order backwards, a lot of these players have a load of sub appearances.
Adomah for QPR got the same rating as Dack, but played more minutes and got less goal and assist and less pass% so not sure why Adomah isn't there if we are being picky...! haha
Plently more Forwards have a worse rating than Delap too so not sure entirely how it's worked out haha | | | |

There seems a bit of an obsession over Dozzell and his subsequent career trajectory since leaving Town, more so than a lot of other players who have done the same.
It's possible he's just finding his level as a fairly middling to lower end Championship player, which is no disgrace. I'm not sure there's ever been much evidence that he'll be any more than that tbh, or that the Premier League has ever been a likely destination. A lot of players who are bigged up from a young age find a similar path (or significantly worse) than he's currently treading. He was taken to QPR by Warburton and has subsequently been sufficiently rated by Beale, Critchley and Ainsworth to keep him in and around the side, he's clearly not sh1t. Big season for him next year though to establish himself and earn a new deal or a comparable deal at the same level. |  |

He was on Radio Suffolk recently and sounded delighted, as chuffed as anyone. In fact, he even contrasted it with the gloomy atmosphere at QPR currently.

to be fair he scored 1 goal and had 2 assists in 73 appearances for us according to Transfermarkt so I'm not sure that the injury is to blame there... |  | | |
