Portman Road is a good looking ground anyway, but doing away with that clutter and smartening that area up is going to make it shine even more. I hope we can look forward to similar with the Portman Road car park if and when the Cobbold gets redeveloped.

New view of itfc on 20:00 - May 14 with 11793 views | NthQldITFC | I asked someone who's working on one of the JCBs (and wearing ear defenders) to send me a "dig pic" earlier, and I got something I wasn't expecting!

Some of the footage on 'Town in 25', or other fan made YT films really made me appreciate the old place. OK, I know it was full to the rafters, but it looked fantastic. Retains it's history, while moving forward. I also think the current shade of blue shirts helps. Royal Blue, never change the shade, like Italy! | | | | Login to get fewer ads

New view of itfc on 04:32 - May 15 with 10504 views | hatch | I wonder how the ‘trim’ of the pitch will look. I know some Prem grounds have quite smart coloured astro around the edge to match their team’s colour. You would think although it will still look like a football pitch the outcome will really lift the feel of the stadium given it is being done so professionally.

I prefer republican blue. On the Italian point, they are colloquially referred to as the 'Azzurri', with the colour their shirts being Azure rather than Blue. Apparently in Italy they consider Azure to be a separate colour rather than a shade of blue, in the same way that we think of pink as being a colour in it's own right rather than a light shade of red.

Think I read ages ago , perhaps last summer or when it was first mentioned ref the pitch , that the edge was going to be blue

I think you might have been whooshed on Frimmer's behalf but then again I might be "whooshed whooshed"

New view of itfc on 13:03 - May 15 with 9495 views | burnbudgiesburn | Am presuming they will clean up the cobbold roof prior to the new season starting but not yet as a ton of dust and dirt will be flying all over the place given the work going on. Stadium will probably need a deep clean.
I'm excited to see what happens on the Staples site... we did have a poll on 13:07 - May 15 with 9464 views | unstableblue | A very serious poll, on potential use cases: https://www.twtd.co.uk/members/unstableblue/polls/3839/is-the-land-acquired-behi With 'Indoctrination centre for West Ham and Norwich fans' coming out on top Think Clockwork Orange meets Uyghur re-education camps, but with a pleasant outcome and methodology. Basically strobe lights, drugs and a 22/23 highlights reel on repeat for 5 days. I actually think it may be car parking for the season ahead.. in the first instance... boring!

Ought I feel embarrassed to admit that I, too, would like to dip into a webcam on occasion to see what's going on?

Of course, someone was bound to pick up on the word’Royal’ and take umbrage. Colour triggering.
