I would say not acceptable.
When I was working at home (a day a week 2015 - 2019) I treated it as if I was actually in work. The only real difference for me was a three hour commute saved and not being able to talk face to face. It was not the Boris Johnson ‘I get easily distracted eating cheese from the fridge’ approach that he accused people of for me.
When I was working, it was more teleconferencing, phone than Skype/video etc, but if I did use the latter, I was always aware of appearance and how I came across so social stuff, smoking/can of Fosters etc, was a no from me.
Just my view and having not worked for a few years, it’s a changing world and I’m well out of date! |  | | |
