Perhaps we are going to see Hladky serve out his contract for this season and Slicker becomes no.2 next season unless we have an offer we think is reasonable.
Like, 75k-100k really doesn't mean much to us, we get better value from him as no.2 for a year.

Appreciate he's only played 3 competitive games for Rochdale but at 20 years old you'd think he'd want to try and push on as number 1 somewhere rather than not even make the bench here? | | | |

20 is pretty young for a keeper, though. Yes, some breakthrough but it feels like the majority don’t nail down starting spots until 23-24 at the earliest, hence why it makes sense to loan out Hayes. | |
