Actually Stokie, that is not strictly accurate. I was also accused of the same thing, what you are not taking into account is that i used to read posts long before i started posting. In my case we are talking maybe 20 odd years ago. This is when I first discovered TWTD. It was only latterly that I joined and started a few worthless contributions! |

I tell you what is so brilliant - Hirst is so distinctive looking but it’s only his car anyone had spotted despite being in the area for a couple of days.

From me: You haven't explained the gains. You've said they get to print 4/5 stories, but why can't they do that anyway, when the deal's done? Where is the gain by going early on it? There's also a potential massive loss/egg on face if it falls through.
Also from me: On your second point, we're not talking about anything that happens in the club, we're talking specifically about transfers. Phil/the EADT print what they like (if it's true, or even just opinion) when things go badly. In fact the EADT ran a Magilton Out campaign, off the top of my head. So how do you justify that the club is controlling the press (or are you suggesting this is a new thing since Ashton came in)?
