I think given how young our squad is, we need him this season.
We're not tight for cash and I'd be prepared to even let him go on a free next summer if it meant we had a solid season and even pushed for the top 6.
Unless we're offered £5m+ which would enable us to buy a readymade replacement! But he's so important to our patterns of play IMO. | | | |

His age is irrelevant, Morsy is our most important player heading into this season; his quality/leadership and Championship experience will be vital if we want to have a go at top 6. I suspect many of these cheap fees are clubs offloading high earners.
Morsy is absolutely critical to us and would take a big fee to replace. The big problem could be if he just asks to go. After helping turn the club around we couldn't really say no but hopefully we could get enough money to replace him properly. | |
