Sunderland tickets membership priority. 17:46 - Jul 21 with 6502 views | finidi_whooah | From club website. 2023/24 members with 30+ Away Priority Points – Monday, 24 July at 10am. 2023/24 members with 25+ Away Priority Points – Tuesday, 25 July at 10am. 2023/24 members with 20+ Away Priority Points – Wednesday, 26 July at 10am. 2023/24 members with 15+ Away Priority Points – Thursday, 27 July at 10am. 2023/24 members with 5+ Away Priority Points – Friday, 28 July at 10am. Season ticket holders – Monday, 31 July at 10am. General sale – Tuesday, 1 August at 10am A little annoyed to be honest. Having bought memberships for the whole family again. I have 17 points, the Mrs 14 and the kids 12 each. Also knowing that at point of purchase meant that if we wanted to go together we would have to wait until the 10+ point Priority window. Now it appears that we have the same Priority over new membership holders. Why have the club skipped 10+?

Only 2,000? Even with great attendances they weren’t selling out last season. Surely they will release another batch when these have sold.
Sunderland tickets membership priority. on 18:37 - Jul 21 with 4813 views | Bex75 | That is actually a valid point! Those who had memberships and a few away games last season have actually gained no priority over new members this year. Whilst I agree with the priority system, I'm worried that the gap will just get bigger and bigger between the top priority and bottom if they are always sold out before the bottom point members get the opportunity to get tickets. Then our membership will be worthless as there aren't any extra perks anymore. We may never get to go to an away match again!

I would be very surprised if we sell out 2k on a Sunday afternoon, during holiday season, with the game on Sky.

I reckon we’ll be close to it. First game buzz and all that.

2k will be about enough for anyone who wants to go, we won’t need any more than that.

Suspect the club will need to look at this , because they catch a cold next season, because fans won’t get caught out again will they. Not sure I’d pay £40 again

Accidental down arrow. Totally agree. Wasn't expecting to be first inline with our point levels but for thought 12 points would take us away from new members priority
Sunderland tickets membership priority. on 19:17 - Jul 21 with 4554 views | textbackup | This says to me, that considering loads of aways between now and norwich away, that that game will probably start at 35+ points Also, If I didn’t buy a membership, but still attended away games (buying on my account) would my away games points still be added? It is what it is. It's not perfect but they had to bring some sort of system out with the increased attendances.

Sunderland tickets membership priority. on 19:30 - Jul 21 with 4422 views | LankHenners | Going to be quite a bit of this I fear this season. Might work itself out by the end (or might get worse!) but going to be some teething problems for sure.

Sunderland tickets membership priority. on 19:32 - Jul 21 with 4379 views | NeedhamChris | I'll be on 15 with my membership, have to say it's not my intention BUT this does incentivise people like me to buy a ticket and then sell it rather than risk losing ground on priorities as the season commences. Might be the difference maker by the time we get to Norwich away.

I know, and to an extent I agree. But people will be annoyed. A Town fan I know who lives in Spain says he won’t be able to watch us as it’s not available ( so he says) for some reason…. Another one living in Portugal says he can’t register because he can’t past the address but as it wants a “ State” to be listed in his address, which he doesn’t have. In some ways it’s a mirror of how much this club has grown since the takeover isn’t it. We are definitely a rising star of a club….shooting star more like!

No membership no points.
Sunderland tickets membership priority. on 19:58 - Jul 21 with 4214 views | Vegtablue | I suspect it's a compromise attempt. There will be a good number of away regulars who didn't purchase the old memberships and it's where you allow them to filter in fairly. They would otherwise be behind people like my brother. He bought a silver membership for the Exeter home game (didn't want to risk missing out) and spent £60 in total on town last year (didn't even buy the third kit). Not a man who should start 5 away matches in front of regular ST holders, let alone those who also attended plenty of away games. My biggest concern is that we may see a notable rise in reselling in order to abuse the system, or even people buying and leaving a seat empty. As someone on 14 points who wants QPR, doing either for the Sunderland match would obviously enhance my chances.. but it's wrong so I won't. Hopefully you'll be okay because it's a mammoth trek, late Sunday afternoon, the holiday period and on Sky 🤞
Sunderland tickets membership priority. on 20:38 - Jul 21 with 4032 views | xrayspecs | I think there is a logic to this. If you bought a membership for the first time this season, then you have five points, as no points were carried forward for any away games you attended last season. If you had any membership last season and you renewed this season you would have a minimum of 10 points. You would also get a point for each away game that you attended last season. So new members are treated the same as members from last season who attended no more than four away games. A fifth away game gets you into the 15 points+ category. You could argue that a member last season who attended between 1 and 4 games away games should have priority over new members. It could also be that the club do not want to discourage new members, many of whom will have attended away games last season, and are therefore treating them the same as members who went very occasionally to away games. Appreciate whatever you do it will not be perfect, but the principle of giving last seasons members who attended most games priority has been maintained, with some potential fudging for those who only went to a few away games. It is indeed a problem. Those of us away with no ST and more than half a dozen away games are pretty shafted. But then I’m sure I’ll hit my normal quota of half a dozen games again. We just can’t be overly choosy and go to popular matches with limited allocation.

Sunderland tickets membership priority. on 22:16 - Jul 21 with 3784 views | skinnybob72 | Hoping I will get a ticket but we’ll see.. Annoying thing is that ST holders last year start in the same position as someone who has never been to a Town game in their life - as long as both joined SB this year. That feels wrong to me.
