After his early performances I believed the hype that he could single handedly take us up the league table : only for him to completely fizzle out in the New Year after his arrival in September. He never fulfilled his promise at subsequent clubs either, much like Stuart Slater after his very average spell with us.
Paul Taylor didn’t work out quite as well as I’d hoped : to say the least.

Watched him played at the tip of a midfield diamond in a league cup game. First half he was totally unplayable. Second half, he completely vanished and we lost 2-1.

Not the most exciting but I thought that Amir Karić would be a great signing. Think it was in the Euros that he was bombing up and down the pitch and putting in great crosses.
