Can we all now agree that Broadhead is in a poor run of form? 10:32 - Nov 26 with 7428 viewsunstableblue

Ridiculous response on this board a while ago when some suggested his form had become patchy, which got shot down

In his last 2 or 3 displays it’s gone from patchy to poor

He remains one of our best players, and I kinda get why you continue to start him, but that’s coming into question now.

Love the player, and for Wales he’s playing well and looking more expensive that Spurs Johnson.

But it ain’t working for Town of late.

As stated it’s a lot to do with being very heavily marked, as the opposition know you can’t give him space.

What do we do?

No one came out of last night well, and it’s about how we bounce back on Weds. We came up against a high quality, physical squad, and a very good manager who had McKenna’s number. An early goal and then lacklustre energy and drive if all players meant we were overrun.

I’ve no idea why we’re getting in a muddle over this. He’s not been at his best lately, that’s obvious (he’s not the only one). He’s still a good player, and people are only chewing the fat. It doesn’t really matter what anyone thinks in the post-match de-stress. People deal with matches in different ways. It’s fine to be defensive and it’s fine to be critical too. Emotions are part of the game. I like to swear like a trooper and imagine the world’s caved in, but then I normally bounce back within 24 hours. Whinging is cathartic!

No. He has been absolutely brilliant since signing. Training and playing for his country and club has made him a little tired. No need to worry. If he has a blinder on Wednesday posts like these will look a little silly.

None of what you say really argues the point does it?

It's completely consistent to agree that he has been absolutely brilliant since signing and that he is in a poor run (albeit short) run of form.

Swansea, do you think it’s because people read the title of posts? form an opinion on how they’ll respond and then read the body of the message.

Because if you actually read my post then some of the responses just don’t align.

Anyway it’s a football message board it shall forever be like this.

As I stated Broadhead remains one of our best players, I love him and the poor form will hopefully be shortlived and on Weds he will play a blinder, score or get an assist.

Footballs tight margins and if Omari had fed him a better pass in a recent game then our Welsh wizard may have had the boost he needs.

In my post I asked whether it was time to consider whether to start him? I don’t think we are. But I bet Harness thinks he’s shown enough.

Just to add some further colour and to highlight the silliness of some responses - in TWTDs very own player ratings… guess what - Broadhead got the second lowest score just above Jackson yesterday, he got the lowest rating against Swansea

Anyway let’s as said hope for a fully firing Broadhead on Weds, quality player

He didn’t actually read my post did he?! As did many others

He isn't in a poor run of form, just not as brilliant as he has been. Not poor, just not brilliant.

Problem is he scored some goals a little while ago so he has about 6 months credit before people will allow him to be seen as having a poor game.

Apart from the fact that pretty much everybody on here said he had a poor game.

Seriously what is actually wrong with you?

You say the most idiotic comments and then completely lie about what other people say to then justify your Idiotic comments.

You should be kicked off this board for being a complete liar.

They appear to only be worthless if you don't agree with them.

No, they're basically always worthless. News commenters vote on them, FFS.

I reckon the best thing we can do as fans, is to single players out for criticism.

What do you think 🤔

Agree, he's off form. Before I heard he was ill when Harness replaced him a couple of games ago, I assumed Harness had been preferred on form.

Cut our losses and save on the food bill if it goes on much longer!

I'm not sure lacklustre energy is right, unless you think you saw us conserving for Wednesday? The players and manager have done too well to lose appetite or bravery now surely, even if we didn't manage to land a good punch at any point.

I don't understand the problem in saying Broadhead is out of form. I think he is. I hope he is because there'll be more to come from him when he's back on track. Do think he's a player who can conjour up a bit of magic to hide a lack of form or consistency. It only takes one bit of magic from him and hes worth his place.

Maybe is he just a little fatigued after the Wales games/training etc

That's my feeling and i'm a big fan . Too many games in a short space of time for a player who has had fitness problems before . Sure KM is aware as he rarely gives him more than 70 minutes and don't under estimate the mental strain of his recent work load .

This is football. It’s impossible to “all agree”.

You're wrong Illy. Surely, we all agree that Naarich are sh!t.
