Out for a few weeks perhaps although too early to tell. Really light up front.

I’d have thought we’d have someone in for the Sunderland game

6 weeks for hamstring injury usually.

He and Morsy were the two players we really couldn’t afford to lose but hope we can get te inforcements in Jan.

Great fight back today though - onwards and upsets.

Likely we were always bringing someone in and I guess this just accelerates it. Luckily it's only QPR before the window opens.

Yeah, me too. Perversely, that’s the best Tim he could get injured as well be able to address it straight away in the window (even if just a loan).

Yeah not ideal and exposes how light we Are up top. Hopefully the prices of our targets dont suddenly go up on the back of it.

We'll be fine, until we get a new signing... Ladapo, Jackson can fill the void, even if we have to tweak it a bit.... Broadhead and Chappers can also play on point...
Great performance and point earned tonight. There's no need to put a negative twist on it...

I thought Jackson did surprisingly well when he came on and Ladapo has shown he can do a job there in the past. Need to get someone in asap but it's not like we are going to have to rely on a raw youngster in the meantime. We also aren't going to be playing the likes of Leeds and Leicester for 4 weeks.

This accelerates our search for a striker doesn't it

Could be sore for a few days or out for months with a tear. No way of knowing yet, eye test suggests it's fairly bad but he was up again trying to play on so will depend if that made it worse or not.

We definitely need someone anyway, but it might be we need two now

Not really, I'd have thought that the search for a striker was already a priority...

I may be wrong but the coming on the pitch and going down looked like a tactic to ensure Jackson had time to get ready to come on without play continuing.

Maybe Tuanzebe can play the Matt Elliott/Richard Naylor/Ian Marshall dual Centre Half/Emergency Centre Forward role?

Saving grace is that it has occurred at the end of December. The same injury two or three months ago would have had far more serious repercussions.

Yep a big loss. Jackson can’t do the same job as Hirst and Lapado is a downgrade on Hirst, although he plays in a similar way and a better option than Jackson. Might force KM’s hand early to delve into the January transfer window.

Agreed I thought Jackson did well, did put himself about was a nuisance and did hold the ball up on a few occasions. Yes not near Hirst but kudos KJ he put a shift in.

Hopefully the better the calibre the player the shorter the time of indoctrination into the good book of McKenna.
