Cauley Woodrow
Kieffer Moore
Michael Obafemi
Divin Mubama
Aaron Collins
Jay Stansfield
Benie Traore. I think he’s off to France though when Blunts sign Brereton-Dias.

Woodrow - 6 month loan.
Moore - wouldn’t touch with a barge pole.
Obafemi - yes.
Mubama - yes.
Collins - no thanks.
Stansfield - yes.

Woodrow for me. We were interested before he went to Luton I gather.

Didn't we say similar about a Mr James Norwood? It's a hig jump. No nothing about the lad so not passing judgement

The James Norwood who scored 1 in 3 in the League for us?

If Langstaff came in and did that this season, we couldn't complain, could we?

Liam Delap for me.

He’d be my pick of the lot personally, carbon copy of Hirst.

Poll: We’ve got super KM, he knows exactly what we need. Woolfie at the back…

19 goals in 26 games is very impressive, even at League Two level IMO. He strikes me as the kind of guy who'll score goals at any level (Prem excepted probably!)

A lot of his goals seem to come from similar cutbacks from wide areas, so patterns of play shouldn't be that tough for him and his work rate is Hirst-esque.

Hirst has very rarely scored from cutbacks for us, so there could very well be a pattern of play issue if that's where he's expected to play, and does seem to have they physical presence for me.

Not sure how achievable a deal would be, but one we should definitely be exploring. He’s never going to play at City, a fee now and then a buy-back clause like they do a lot at the moment?

Surely he’d be £5m+ ?

From when he signed until the summer recruitment of 2021 Norwood was the best player at the club...fairly comfortably.

Probably, but if you want a young talented striker, you pay the price. That all said, no idea if City would even sell, or what they’d want.

Think we might need to be looking at splashing £5m + to get someone ready to hit the ground. I don’t expect Gamechanger to blink if MK says it’s for the player he wants.

Poll: Right now, who would you rather have as Prime Minister?

I’ve seen him a few times as my old man is a Notts County fan bless him , great in the national league and looks good in League 2 but I’d question whether the Champ would be a stretch

No doubting he runs and runs , his work rate is enormous and knows how to find space and does bit sadly against a certain level of defenders.

Sounds like the sort of front playr we’d sign - he’s doubtless one for the future. But ultimately we need someone more established, more ready to roll in the Champ.

61 goals in 71 appearances. I like the look of that, don't care that it's a lower level. Obviously a natural goalscorer. Go get him.

Are we after a finisher though? The way mckenna clearly wants hirst to play, possibly not. I'd think we'd be looking more at goal contributions and assists than goals scored.

Poll: Which would you accept?

Interesting that one. He’s been recalled by Bradford from Swindon loan, they apparently want to keep him 👀

We will probably sign someone completely off the radar. Like Romeo Vermant. Someone who isn't firing on all cylinders this season from a top side.

If I had to pick 2 from the OP list, it would be Jay Stansfield and Kieffer Moore.

Would like to see us look long term too and sign a few U-21 players on permanent deals (won't affect squad limit too); may or may not hit the ground running, but pretty much every one of our players has improved under the current set-up. If we're looking for an understudy to Hirst, my current pick playing in League One would be Will Goodwin at Cheltenham; similar physical attributes and workrate, good with his back to goal, and chips in with a few goals. Bit raw, but only recently turned 21 so think he has the high ceiling we look for in our signings.

I'd be amazed if City looked to sell yet or if they did, it being for less than 8 figures. Cameron Archer went for £18m last summer after a couple of decent Championship loans.

Ironic reaction from someone who has just suggested we loan Evan Ferguson from Brighton on another thread. He's played in the majority of their games this season, is their 2nd top scorer, estimated to be worth £50m and being linked with a move to Man United.

Or you could be truthful and correct and say ironic from someone who ASKED what was the situation with Ferguson, I saw he was on the bench recently......... and by asking, clearly showing I'm not aware that he's worth 50 million and linked with utd,
