McKenna said it was something the club was working on and needed to get going properly at the last fans forum.
Understand it takes time and isn't as simple as just finding and buying a player we like the look of but I've always found it hard to believe that we took a recruitment guy from Man Utd to head up our scouting department and we don't now have any knowledge of or connections with people on the continent.
In fairness, McKenna's often put quite a bit of emphasis on players 'knowing the division' (and has spoken about the difficulty of foreign players settling into a new environment) so it may well be a choice to 'limit' ourselves to the UK for now. |  |
