Easier to visualise half an acre and double it. Be careful to only double it in one dimension, though. If you double it in both dimensions you will end up with 2 acres. Alternatively, an acre is 4047 square metres or only 4 thousandths of a square kilometre. [Post edited 22 Feb 2024 21:41]
