It is clearly a joke but agree, it does seem to have become a little divisive. |
More than a little divisive, but it’s good to see you acknowledge it might actually be the source of most of the squabbles you have to deal with.
There are obvious cliques on here, which is only to be expected when long term posters, with similar views, politics and a compulsion to spend much of their working day on here, gang together to cover each other’s backs in some ritual show of virtual brotherhood.
All fine, but thoroughly off-putting for any genuinely new posters, with the snide allegations, accusations and speculation as to which former poster they think they are.
I’ve been on here for 10 years but still get the same few homeboys circling in the strange belief they’re protecting and policing their rightful territory, just because I’m one of your forum members who doesn’t spend every minute of the day on here.
Quite happy to bite back but it only results in more work for you when they then come running to you, screaming foul. |  |
