Winning 2, drawing 1 and losing 3 of every 6 games would give us 7 points from 18.
Over the course of the season that would give you 51 points. We'd have finished 10th this season with that kind of record.
Winning 1, drawing 2 and losing 3 would give us 5 points. That gives you 31 points over a season. Enough for 17th and safety this season but relegated in many other campaigns.
That one draw being turned into a win every 6 games is enough to change a likely relegation into 10th, an incredible finish and a points total that's pushing for Europe.
Kieran is bright enough to know that we attack teams. Sure we'll be more reserved against Man City or Arsenal, you have to be to a degree, but defending against these teams sees you lose. You have to cause them an issues.
The teams between 9th and 15th this season all had 12, 13 or 14 wins. I'd imagine that's the sort of benchmark for us. Winning roughly a third of your games is that sweet spot. For that you need 2 wins, 1 draw and 3 defeats in every 6 game block.
With the signings we are likely to make, the way we play, we can afford to lose half our games as long as we win more than we draw and we probably finish comfortably. | | | |

Being sensible, I think 6 points would be a good start. Would mean we'd got a foothold in the division, and can hold our own.
