Why have we only been given 3,000 tickets for City Away 17:30 - Aug 2 with 4162 viewskizaitfc

I thought the allocation in the prem jumps up to 10% capacity. Unless they have moved back to Maine Road I'm sure the Etihad is much larger than 30,000.

Poll: Mick in or out? (not a dig at Mick just want to see the overall opinion on here)

Isn't it 3000 or 10% of the capacity if your capacity is under 30,000

It really should be 10%. It's another way that the bigger clubs gain an advantage.

2% reserved for the ballot. 60 tickets. Good luck all!

It's whichever is LOWEST out of 3000 or 10% of capacity.

Definitely a bit rubbish that stadiums with 40,50,60k may only have 3k away fans. But it means selling more expensive tickets for the football tourists

That's probably one unfortunate failing of the away fans ticket price cap in the prem

Saw that…60 tickets for the ballot each fortnight pretty much makes it impossible to see Ipswich away this season unless you’ve got at least 15 points and most likely 20.
As I feared, it will be a closed shop by November.

From what a Man City fan told me a lot of the crowd there is made up of tourists who spend a lot of the match taking selfies rather than watching the match.

Anecdotally, he told me that City recently abolished their old points system and started anew. Apparently they put up a lot of their home tickets for this season available to people buying into this new points system. He’s usually quite mild mannered but he was angry that loyal local fans are being bypassed by daytrippers who will spend hundred in the club shop.

Everything appears geared to the big boys. Years ago it was always iffy refs, now it's been replaced by iffy VAR. Man City, how long have the powers that be waited to do something about their breaking of over 100 fair play rules. This is a question and not a observation or a regret. But whilst according to everyone the Premier League is the place to be. But is it. The struggles we are having bringing in players because the clubs we are buying from play hardball, not that I expect them to give us their players, we wouldn't give them ours. But taking three weeks or more is absurd. Having to cater for the "Prawn sandwich" brigade, Sky and the press is absurd. Yes I know these is the rules, but come on. All this is just pandering to the have's and sod the have not's..

90% of our fans can’t even read an email to understand ballot rules. Number of people asking things like when will I hear if I got a ticket was crazy when it was written there clearly.

Basically every ticket allocation will be 3k next season unless the capacity is under 30k in which case will be less at 10%. It’s really not difficult but there are so many fans thinking we get loads more because they are bigger grounds. Hard work sometimes isn’t it.

I feel like ive gamed the system. Som likes citeh got junior Cityzen at xmas from grandparents. Knew we were going to try, chrcked on 16 July found tickets to cityzens going on sale day after. Joined as a cityzen (just as I had to as an Ipswich gan for a home game), then linked us as family and joined online queue that day of 32000, waited and got us City home tickets.
