I'm still confused about how I'm going to watch the game on Saturday 10:37 - Aug 22 with 24886 viewsThe_Flashing_Smile

on TV. I have a VPN. Don't have a subscription to any streaming services (that have football). What's an easy, straightforward option that's definitely going to work, and cheap as poss? I was quite happy paying a tenner for Town TV but now it seems all such a faff. All I want to do is watch my team!

Maybe Phil or someone can write a proper article explaining the options, I can't be the only one confused.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Excuse me, you made a generalised statement denigrating a large number of people for absolutely nothing.

Oh dear never mind🙄

It’s being shown on Premier Sports 1 which comes under the same NowTv subscription as TNT Sports.

If you paid for the Liverpool game you’ll be able to watch this one too

Still can't find any mention of it anywhere on the Now app.

Are you able to post a link pls?

It's not being broadcast on UK TV, we're not allowed by law to broadcast 3pm kickoffs in the UK. I think you might be getting confused, as I believe it's available via NOW TV in Ireland.

Ah, that makes sense - sadly, am not in Ireland, though I suppose this could be the time to sign up for the club's partner VPN.

I'm not sure if NOW TV subscription would carry over just by "being in" Ireland anyway. You might have to sign up to their service.

Apologies, I was under the impression you were planning to VPN to Ireland. My mistake if I got that wrong.

Game is advertised on this schedule if you do get a VPN sorted. Should be easy enough to get a free one to hop over the water.

Edit: re read the thread and you never mentioned a VPN so that’s my fault, must have mixed you up with somebody else mentioning one somewhere on here.

Not sure why people think a firestick is required at this point. Iptv is available direct on smart tvs.

Probably as some people aren't using IPTV and also it's not available on all smart TVs, it depends on the OS on the TV.

I am considering travelling to New Zealand this afternoon to watch the ipswich game on Sky Sports Now.

If i was to get a month pass, correct me if I am wrong but NZ Sky Sports now shows *all* premier league games live, so i would be able to travel to NZ to watch every ipswich game I wanted?

Like you I can't get BBC Suffolk radio signal and for struggle to get to Portman Road so last year I paid for Town TV . Due to the Premier League restrictions Town TV no longer does live TV but it still offers live audio of matches although it does cost £5.99pm with the bonus a video match replays, interviews etc.

I think it’s on Talksport 2.

Depends if you can sign up to NZ Sky Sports with an English card. I've signed up to Canadian Fubo as they allow PayPal to pay for the subscription.

Getting the app to install on my Firestick was a bit of a faff though. I had to change my Amazon accounts address to a Canadian address to allow the app to install but with my VPN on I've had no issues, currently testing by watching the Brighton V Man Utd match.

Or - same question, but I may change my travel plans and go to the USA so I can sign up to Peacock for a month for $7. Anybody had experiences with this?

Same applies as my last comment. If you can get it working for $7 let me know as I've paid £17 for a month of Fubo.

Don't have the answers I'm afraid but these potential problems spring to mind:

1) If you purchase a UK subscription and then arrive in NZ in double-quick time, my guess would be that bring the UK offering with you, rather than switching to NZ channel access just because of where you are.

2) If you purchase a NZ subscription, leaving aside the terms breach etc., my guess is this would require a NZ address and maybe equivalent payment details. No doubt some overseas subscription providers are easier to hoodwink than others.

3) My guess is some subscription providers are better able to detect VPN use and block service accordingly than others. Some VPN providers are probably better at escaping detection than others.

Thanks. Would be watching on my desktop, so that's all ok.

However, tried to pay for a month of Peacock for $7 with paypal and it told me "We're sorry, we weren't able to process your request. Please choose another way to pay." I guess as my paypal isn't dollars/us based?

My mate dodgy Dave flew to Canada today on nordvpn and using PayPal purchased a ticket to Fubo. Looks promising.

My apologies all - I hadn't updated some bank cards on my Paypal.

Actually, it all works perfectly. $8 for a month and I can watch Ipswich in English or Spanish.

I prefer this to Fawa sports. better quality. fair price. and i can watch on catchup for the games I can't see live.

I was able to install iptv directly onto LG tv in bedroom, but big Samsung tv in the lounge blocked the installation....so I had to buy a firestick to be able to install it

The only problem with Peacock is that it doesn't show all matches. It's split with NBC's USA channel.

Fubo is pretty good value if you choose quarterly, half yearly or yearly which are heavily discounted AND on offer to new subscribers right now.
