I'm still confused about how I'm going to watch the game on Saturday 10:37 - Aug 22 with 22525 viewsThe_Flashing_Smile

on TV. I have a VPN. Don't have a subscription to any streaming services (that have football). What's an easy, straightforward option that's definitely going to work, and cheap as poss? I was quite happy paying a tenner for Town TV but now it seems all such a faff. All I want to do is watch my team!

Maybe Phil or someone can write a proper article explaining the options, I can't be the only one confused.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

I'm not sure anyone can help you on this forum because i think you are asking us how to break the law.

Only way to legally watch premier league football in the UK is to either be in the stadium or watch on Sky/BT (I'm unsure if Amazon retained access this season)

Presumably any way of watching the game might be stretching the limits of legality, so I can't imagine Phil is likely to post an article on the subject unfortunately.
Dodgy feed on an old phone for me.

It’s on Premier Sports 1 in Ireland, VPN may work with that?

I suspect to access any of those you'll have to have a subscription with those channels which may be easier said than done.

On a slightly more legal note, is there any way to get radio suffolk commentary outside of suffolk? I was hoping 5live might be covering the game as their 3pm kick off but looks like they are doing the spurs match instead

I have subscriptions with Disney+ and Premier...I will try logging in online with a VPN set up and see if it works.

I have a subscription to Fubo, which is the Canadian Premier League service.

It cost me about £120 for the year but that includes every PL game. Have tested and works ok on my iphone, ipad, laptop and TV (via VPN to Canada), although the Apple ones are via the browser rather than app (as need a Canadian App store account to download the Fubo app). Was able to pay for it using a UK card via paypal, and just put a generic Toronto zipcode in.

A little bit of a faff (maybe an hour of fiddling about with stuff) but am sorted for the year now.

Might be able to blag a free trial. But registration might be tricky if you need to show you are outside of UK.

I bought a Now Tv extra subscription last weekend to watch our game against Liverpool on TNT. I just wanted a day pass but the monthly fee was the same price. Premier Sports comes under the same subscription.

So VPN to Ireland and do that if you’re happy to pay €15. Or find a pub in London with a dodgy box that’ll show it.

My hobbies include being quiet during trips, clapping with songs, and diabetes.

I was wondering about this (pub wise) for London. If I can't get tickets to some away games I quite fancy this. Will do some digging, but if anyone know and pubs showing all the games, let me know.

Get a fire stick, pay about £40 a year for subscription and watch absolutely anything and everything on there including all town games.

Like you I can't get BBC Suffolk radio signal and for struggle to get to Portman Road so last year I paid for Town TV . Due to the Premier League restrictions Town TV no longer does live TV but it still offers live audio of matches although it does cost £5.99pm with the bonus a video match replays, interviews etc.

If you pay for a US based sports sub and then use a VPN to watch it here, I'm not sure what law you are breaking.

If you fancy a weekend away in say Fiji or NZ you can buy a week's subscription with Sky Sports Now ... what a time to be alive.

I find that too risky for me. They could block that IP and you'd be stuck. I'd much prefer a monthly contract.

My fire stick does nothing of the sort. Like superblue95, I had to pay £30 as a one off to TNT last w/e (a month pass without anything else I want to watch).

This guide might help a bit -

30? Did you buy a full now tv sports package or just the sports extra? As I only paid 15 for the month but means I only get TNT and Premier, not the sky channels.

Didn’t actually realise I’d be able to watch the Man City game until after I’d paid, so that was a nice bonus (although I’ll probably end up watching in pub anyway).

Ah. The money grabbing TV companies are safe with me - I wouldn’t know how to tweak a fire stick to save my life!

Bad enough when it was just Sky. With 3 other rip-off companies now jumping on the bandwagon, how many fans can afford the £80-90/month U-switch are saying it’ll take to cover all our games? Especially for those unable to get into PR for whatever reason. Boils my water 🤬

Oh. I’ll check, but basically had to add the full sports coverage to what I already had, which was a leftover from last season’s special offer.

Didn’t realise they’re covering the Man City game!
