I don't know more details, but I presume no points deduction for them

Yep they got away with it. Again. Reminder that their 2015 fairytale league title was built on cheating ffp rules.

Of course not. They’re not a scabby little club like Luton or Swindon who can be buried like a bone in the back yard. They are important to the PL. they are former winners and legitimate fodder for the big six.

Isn't the Premier League a private organisation and can do what it likes to its members?

Mother f00kers.

Mind you, I think this ruling is the death knell for PSR. How can anyone suggest this framework carries any weight now?

Look, there’s nothing wrong with 13 month accounting years and allegedly completely ignoring the ‘rules’.

I’m sure Man City will be punished for 115 alleged offences - when Nelson gets his eye back.

Does this all come down to the Premier League AGM (where your share is given to the promoted team) was on June 14th 2023, and the end of the financial year for assessing PSR was on June 30th 2023? So the PL messed up?

Unfortunately, that defence would only work if relegated.

Thank God we spent £100m. I would be livid if we curtailed Kierans spending, we needed to build a good squad.

But as they sold players like KDH by the end of June won't they be OK by the EFL rules for last season so they have just got away with it all the cheating fkers.

They are going to take some pelters from the terraces for a while to come and the fans are now just laughing it off as if they are super proud of the cheating.

Only if we get relegated the season after. Not a great plan.

But the EFL can't do anything as Leicester weren't in the EFL either. That's why they didn't get a punishment last season as they didn't fall under the EFL's jurisdiction at the time of the offence.

Ah well. If there’s a silver lining it’s that they know they cheated, they know they cheated and they know that we know they cheated. Being known as a grubby little cheating club will now hang over them for years/decades. I wouldn’t want us to be in their shoes.

I don't think it will bother Leicester or their supporters one jot. This is top flight football now - corrupt owners, foreign mercenaries and too much money. I don 't care what clubs spend, let them spend what they want.

Wonder if the prem lawyers can counter argue player contracts

If they are using the loophole that their share date is the reason why they can't be charged.. what's the date the players with relegation clauses has against it?

I'm sure you're right. A lot of their fans won't care as long as they're doing well. Some people still value things like integrity though. We're all enjoying not just the success, but how we're being run and the decent values that people like Ashton and Kieran bring to our club*. That still counts for something imo. Or maybe it doesn't these days. I think I'm out of touch.

(*Except for Elephant of course!)
