Within days of the election there was a pile of content and bot driven comments on social media suggesting a confidence vote was imminent. On the one hand it is beyond parody, but on the other hand millions of ppl probably take it as fact.

I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

I've even seen a YouTube video suggesting the Empire, Vadar and Palpatine were the good guys, because they just wanted to restore stability to the galaxy, while the Rebel Alliance were just woke lefty terrorists.

The comments and conversations underneath this are an eye opener
I read recently that one of the jailed rioters ran a Twitter account similar to this one that was bringing them in around £1800 monthly. The way the money was made was to do with the number or replies to the tweet, the more replies the more adverts twitter could insert under the tweet.
So the whole model is for tweeters to put out something as controversial as possible to drive replies and make money.
