Bought an air fryer in the Black Friday sales…. on 20:28 - Nov 21 with 2106 views | TheBlueGnu | Yep, try cooking Peking Style Spare Ribs in Black Pepper Sauce. I have a recipe given to me by the former Crossroads actress Sally Adcock (Jane, the waitress). It cooks well in an air fryer. I bought my fryer from a cook store in Rishangles.

Even with fridges you have to take food out sometimes. Unless you’ve got a massive fridge. Or are happy to let things rot down to an unidentifiable black sludge. To the OP - Google is your friend. There are thousands of recipes online. In short, treat it like your oven. It’s just smaller and quicker. My top tip, as daft as it sounds, would be to buy a pump oil spray. You can get disposable or reusable containers. You only need the lightest covering of oil on a lot of stuff, so a pump that’ll put out a fine spray is a game changer. Just really convenient.

Amazing for any potatoes. Amazing jackets. Did some jerseys last night. Bit of butter and oil. 15 mins or so. Perfect crispy potatoes. (You don't need hardly any oil to be honest. Jus experiment. Just about everything comes out well.

You will wonder how you ever lived without it and will preach to anyone who will listen The spray oil tip is a good one [Post edited 21 Nov 2024 20:49]

If a fridge isn't turned on. Is it still a fridge or a cupboard?

Bought an air fryer in the Black Friday sales…. on 20:48 - Nov 21 with 1991 views | Guthrum | I am at this very minute eating a turkey escalope burger created in just 25 minutes with the air fryer as I came home from work late and ravenous. Makes things like that, goujons, nuggets or fish bites in the freezer a genuinely quick meal. With nicely crispy batter/breadcrumbs.

They can probably cook everything apart from beans and sou…..oh hang on that’s an idea….. Sigh…..it can do soup as well. [Post edited 21 Nov 2024 22:43]

Bought an air fryer in the Black Friday sales…. on 22:44 - Nov 21 with 1547 views | WicklowBlue | Dare I buck some of the trend and be somewhat sensible? Depending on the model/type you bought... you can literally cook/bake/roast/fry anything! Pros: They heat up instantly saving the lecky bill. Can easily do fry ups without all the grease etc. Cons: Not many but take a bit of getting used to. One con is that it's so much easier cooking frozen, preprepared food stuffs, rather than getting the pots, pans out and making a more healthy meal. Buying an air fryer kit on Amazon(other retailers are available) is useful to stop the wear and mess. Homemade chips (not frozen) need a bit of trial and practice but we'll worth it! There was a point where I missed the deep fry sunflower option... Top tip, the baskets get super hot..silicon tongs are a mist otherwise you end up with criss cross burns on your arms.
