All games are important and as we know the team deal on a game at a time basis so not necessarily as significant as they feel, but it does feel after the next four we will either see this forum in meltdown or saying we will win the league - predictions?

Nottingham Forest (A)
Crystal Palace (H)
AFC Bournemouth (H)
Wolves (A)

I think we will beat both Palace and Bournemouth here, and would like to see a win out of the other two.

Wouldn’t it be great to back up improving on field performances with points and a move up the table. In reality the last 6 form puts us below all of the teams and says each will be difficult in its own right.

Being positive 10 points, time for the team to come of age!

12 pts wouldn't be a surprise.

Forest have dropped off recently. Not a bad time to face them. (D)

We have to be targeting 3 points v Palace. (W)

Bournemouth ditto (W)

Wolves may start to pull away now, dragging more into it (L)

Wouldn't turn my nose up at that to be honest. Would make it 12 points out of 7 games.

My predictions last time out I felt were realistic. I predicted defeats and 0 points from Spurs and United. So, I’m going for optimism this time.
Forest Away; 2-1 Defeat
Palace Home; 2-0 Win
Bournemouth Home 1-0 Win
Wolves Away; 1-1 Draw

In our own hands. I agree we continue to take one game at a time. But I think we need to be out of the bottom 3 after this run of 4, and above Everton

We’re on 9 points after 12, it would be very promising if we can move to 1PPG after this block of 4 games, a couple of wins and a draw - which is possible!

10 pts from that not out of the question, but I'd take 8 pts and be very happy with that return.

The players will be well up for the forest match. Cos they know, get 3 points there and with two home games..it could easily propel us in to mid table..

Forest - win - they were on a hot run off the back of Wood scoring for fun. I'm back O'Shea to get the better of him and we sneak a 1-0 away win (very much like last season)

Palace - draw - I think they are the best of the four teams and will start to pull away from the drop zone. Hard fought 1-1 draw.

Bournemouth - win - not a great away record, backing this to be our first home win. 2-0.

Wolves - draw - not a great home record, but I can't see us getting three wins out of four. 1-1

We need to get to par and be on 16 points after the 16 games which means winning 2, drawing 1 losing 1. I suspect we'll have 1 win (Palace), 1 draw (Forest) and 2 defeats. Bournemouth much better than people give them credit for ditto Wolves.

I think we need to remain cautious.
The teams in the upcoming games will be aware of our performances v Spurs and Man Utd.
I would expect a more Everton (do a number approach) from the Palace and Bournemouth. We can take nothing for granted.

Ill hope for 5 points.

These games might not define our season, but I can’t help but feel that should we continue the improved performances but don’t another win it will make staying up a whole lot harder. We really need to get to that 1 pt a game or more average sooner than later.

Can we do it? Absolutely I think we can. I think we have every reason to hope/expect that the 2nd half of the season will be better than the 1st. But given that we needed record pts to get promoted out of 1st div and the championship I wouldn’t bet that we’ll need a record amount of points to stay up this season!!

There's definitely points up for grabs. We're playing well and look confident, but more importantly, our most threatening players (Delap and Hutchinson) are very confident. Forest is a tough game, they'll be looking to put back to back defeats behind them, but the two home games I'd definitely feel confident going into. Wolves is a tough one, they've had some good results lately.

The way I see it, we have been improving game on game. Law of averages says we will benefit from some decisions and then finish off more of these chances we are creating.

Therefore, one of these 4 is going to get a hammering. I would say 7 points with a 4-0 tonking of Palace. I think we maybe lose to Bournemouth at Home. I don't think we match up well against them man for man.
