All else being equal…. If you had to swap PR for another British stadium? 16:48 - Jan 13 with 5754 viewsMatt_Netherlands

Imagine Portman Road is gone. You have to pick up another stadium and drop it into IP1 for the remainder of this seasons matches. Fixtures are the same, ticket demand is the same, location the exact same.

Which stadium are you going for and why?

Think my pick would be Villa Park. I reckon we could fill it for most games this season, and there’s something special about a four sides stadium…. And I couldn’t bring myself to say Elland Road.

Carrow Road and I’d paint the whole stinking place blue and white and pee in all their kettles

Anfield

Would be horrendous but if I had to would go for Villa Park too for a proper 4 sides traditional ground or possibly Hillsborough which I love as a ground.

Mini version of the Spurs Stadium.

If we were to swap, may as well go modern.

Most are identikit like Leicester or Sunderland, but you never hear anything but good things about the Spurs stadium. Seems much better considered than all the others.

Is the right answer. Correct positioning of away end, too. At an end, not on side or up in the clouds.

Something historic, unique and characterful like the Jobserve Community Stadium or Anfield.

MK Dons stadium. Quite liked it and can be expanded to 40k as well.

I’ve always loved the tight design of Loftus Road. I know some seats have a bad view and it isn’t big enough, but I can’t think of anything else I’d prefer.

For similar size probably Ashton gate of the traditional grounds. Of the new I reckon a full stadium MK would be good each week.

I’d say Milton Keynes also. We would fill it every week.

Great ground, but would we really fill 61k?!

(Doesn’t seem that long ago that the capacity there was about 45k)

Controversial, but I’d take their goal celebration music too whilst we’re at it. Obviously swapping Hoops for Blues.

Not sure why but the away end always has the feeling of temporary stand. Gives chills of The Priestfield.

If we’re going to change the kit then it has to be purple.

Signal Induna Park, home of Borussia Dortmund.

Great acoustics, lots of safe standing, plus room for 81k people as and when required...

I'm strangely fond of the Abbey Stadium ( Cambridge Utd), but capacity would be a bit of a challenge!

Ibrox. Never been but on telly it looks like a proper traditional type ground and the seats are the right colour.

51 thousand might be a bit too big, mind.
