Looks like it bounces off his torso and his arm at the same time to me. I think it's not really 100% clear on any angle I've seen though. Was the on field decision goal and it was ruled out by VAR? If so I'm not sure it's clear enough to rule it out. If it judged to be handball by the ref and then backed up by VAR then I think it's the correct conclusion.

Its absolutely clear enough. Deflects off the arm and into the goal. Not intentional, but the law is clear that when a goal is scored via contact with arm, it is to be ruled out.

Don't think it touches anything other than his right arm, it's actually very clear handball.

If it touches the hand and goes in - regardless of intent - it’s disallowed

He could be looking the other way - and it scrapes his finger nail - still no goal

the ripple that runs down the shirt makes it look like contact is with the torso.

And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show

Is the right answer. Intent and things like natural arm position isn’t relevant if a goal is scored, which was the case here. 100% correct decision and a win for VAR. Villa would have wrongly lost a point if we didn’t have VAR and that could be the difference for a Champions League place. When it works well it’s good imo. We need something like it, as refs on the field miss too much (understandably - they can’t be everywhere).

In this angle looks torso clearly, in others looks like his arm clearly.

Can't tell from this angle. This angle suggests that it could well have only bounced off his torso, and deflected before hitting his arm.

Need other angles for a better judgment.

If it hit torso and then arm, the result is the same. Makes no difference.

If it did, but as I said from that angle you cannot see - the torso deflection may well have taken it at an angle that made no contact with the arm.

It's inconclusive from this angle.

No, it appears to hit his lower torso first, and deflect to the left and up - and then possibly not making contact with the arm. You are missing important spatial information from this angle.

Anyone who tries to say it conclusively hits his arm from that angle is not being objective. I'm not saying that it's conclusive that it hasn't hit his arm. It might have. But it's inconclusive.

I get what you are saying but I was going with the shadow being cast on his wrist right up until the point of impact and you can see it change direction after its hit.

Notable that the defenders immediately called it as well.

Yes, I agree - I looked at that shadow too, stepping through frame by frame. I just don't think you can be certain there's no air space between arm and ball when it deflects. The shadow would still be there on approach, and disappear when it deflects away without contact.

I've only looked at this angle, so comments are related to whether or not this angle can be conclusive or not

Off to the game now, so I'll shut up now.

Having seen that clip, it definitely hits his arm. You can see the sleeve material flatten ever so slightly if you look closely enough.

One of the easiest they'll ever have to give. It literally went in because it hit his arm. The rules are absolutely clear on that.
