Not sure there was much of a list of English club strikers looking to be loaned to us as 3rd choice or good enough to be first choice. Ferguson is the only one that springs to mind. |  |

Why? He started our last game so is obviously in McKenna's plans.
People seem to forget we had 10 players for the front 4 positions post January last season. It'll be no different this season. We want to have plenty of options. You can bet a couple of players will be unavailable each game due to injury, a knock or suspension. |  | | |

Enciso coming in makes me think that Kieran wants to go back to 4231.
We abandoned (well..not abandonded, but moved away from it) and largely down to lacking a little quality, but feels like we've made steps forward, some down to returns from injury too.
Plenty to choose from in a front three now which never felt the case before, we felt light in danger, especially losing Ogbene's pace so early on.

I wonder if it enables the nominal 4231 a bit more often because Philogene gives us a left 10 who can do a bit more defensive work back and is great on the break, like Hutchinson? Not sure that the other three options on the left gave us that dual functionality to a high enough level, Szmodics perhaps. |  |

Was legitimately one of the most exciting and sought after talents in world football.
Looks a good fit for us. Good ball carrier who can create from different areas of the pitch. Also someone who shoots from literally anywhere. Which is fun. |  |
