One of the most baffling things about him, is that he constantly looks unfit and is very slow. The fitness thing could be explained to some degree by the lack of regular minutes, but the pace thing is a real problem, he gets run round very easily by every opponent and appears unable to turn quickly, maybe he's carrying an ongoing injury we don't know about? |  | | |

A loan, with option to buy, makes sense if Axel is likely to move on when his contract expires.
Not getting much game time, came on as sub in last Europa League game.

I think it makes a lot of sense personally. Doak is off the table and that right hand side is our weak spot for me. We seem to be in a place where we have to play Burns or Johnson every game and both are simply 'doing a job' for me. Not sure either really look at the level.
Harry Clarke will be off. And sounds like Woolfy could be too. So Godfrey could be seen as more of a CB than a RB.
Ultimately, I think we need to find a way to get a front 4 of Hutchinson-Enciso-Philogene-Delap starting games, which would involve a RB that can provide the width and play outside Hutchinson. | | | |

I don't know how I feel about this. Our right side has felt weak in defence all season. I thought Johnson would be great but reality is he's struggled to find form. Wes has been a legend here but I think the prem is just a bit beyond his ability though not by much, however with age this will inevitably get harder. Clarke needs a loan for sure. Godfrey I can't understand what so ever on loan if we bring another in with him being clear about a desire to play regular.
