Turning it around, I can’t think of anyone from the L1 promotion team, past or present, who I’ve thought ‘good riddance’. Even Greg Leigh is a hero and he barely played.

Just because of the journey he's had to get here, and how close he was to being pushed out by Cook.

So many great stories but think for me it would be Mass. Remember watching him on loan, looked the business in a friendly then out of his depth in the first competitive game (Blackburn I think?). Then all those years later to be signed again whilst out of favour and arguably become the main catalyst for that change in form and then so comfortable in the Championship.

Would be Leif for me. I can't even imagine us playing anyone at LB, and basically nobody else has for three years! We seem to be good at identifying really good LB's, see Cresswell and Mings, although this one would hurt more. |  |

Think Burgess for me when he does leave.
He's been incredible for the last 2 years now, since that run started in league 1 he never let us down even in the prem. Got every bit out of his skills, not as talented as some of the others mentioned, but he's kept up with them performance wise.
The Egyptian King will be a hard one also. Think he's been brilliant leading this club on the pitch.
Chaplin, Woolfie, Burns, Luongo, Broadhead are all special blokes also.

Last season, when we scored the third goal against Southampton and he ran the full width of the pitch from the subs bench encapsulates the team bond and spirit for that season (as well as the L1 promotion season). |  | | |

if he would have been 22 he would have had people looking at him at the 10-15 million pound mark.

Massimoooooo....purely for his story arc. Loaned in at 19 in a basket case season by an utterly incompetent manager,forged himself a decent career around the lower levels until he was discarded by Middlesbrough and then back to us for what I consider one of the best bits of Buisiness McKenna has done here. |  |

It's sad when any legend leaves your club. I suppose it's particularly relevant given that we have had two great seasons culminating in two promotions. It can feel like we are abandoning these players as they gradually depart. I don't think this is the case at ITFC where players seem to be found the best possible move for their talents. As a manager and CEO KM & MA have a duty to Gamechanger20 to achieve the best possible position in the League for Ipswich Town therefore if they deem the players or a player isn't good enough regardless of their previous contributions then they have to replace them. We all have our views on those that have been here the last few seasons and the new recruits. But at the end of the day the opinion that counts is KM. Our heads aren't on the chopping block if the teams fails and I suspect that neither is KM's currently, but as with players that's now. In the future who knows. | | | |

No one will be surprised that mine is Woolfenden. Academy player, and the single remaining member of the first team squad from the pre-Gamechanger days. Plus he's improved year on year.

Leif Davis would be the biggest miss for the squad but I feel he would only leave to go on to bigger things so I would be pleased for him. It would be sadder for one of the team to leave because he is just out of favour. This could happen to any of the others but I think I would miss Chaplin most. | | | |
