shifting really slowly..I’d have thought the remaining few would have been snapped up in a couple of minutes…still a couple of hundred available…

Think its a consequence of the points system. Those sub 20 have been stuck there for most of the season as tix rarely become available there, the last slot with tickets being the 20+ who have taken up the last tickets week in week out and have now moved into the 25+ bracket. Suspect when the analsysis comes out later we will see that movement...

Could be that there aren’t many left in the 20+ group; most have moved up to 25+ and those on 15+ have been stuck there.

I think you're right. Can't be many left in 20 points as they would have moved up already.

I also think the sales were slower as this is a midweek game. Yes it's an iconic fixture, but long trip on a Wednesday. You need to take two days off work. Families may also not go to this one.

Should give the 15+ brigade a chance though which is good for them

Maybe Tommcd could give us an update on the stats later today so we know what our chances are tomorrow.

Cheers.

Absolutely loads of Cov tickets left.

This will test the “I just want to see Ipswich play away, I don’t mind who” crowd. The answer will be “but not them”.

A bit unnecessary my good man. We're all Ipswich supporters. I'll be buying 3 x Cov tickets tomorrow for certain. I'm sure many others will as well, given the opportunity.

Sales have been slower than they would have been for a Saturday fixture in all points-windows so far.

Even for a high-demand Saturday fixture with a decent 3k allocation, it seems like the number of people 20+ upwards pretty much matches the number of tickets. For example; Villa sold out in 20+, but only very late in the afternoon.

As tractorshark mentioned above, there's currently 212 or so remaining. There's usually a little run of sales at lunchtime, and again at teatime, so based on prior trends I'd estimate probably 180 or so reach 15+. Particularly if you're currently on 19 points, this is definitely the one to pull out all the stops out for, practise your refresh-skills, it's probably your last chance to break into 20+ and stand a chance for remainder of the season!

Sorry, perhaps that’s not fair and certainly doesn’t apply to everyone.

But there will be some who’ll certainly be in that camp,

I started the season on 17 points. Got Man City and Southampton tickets which took me to 19 and have been stuck since.

Hope Cov sells out, it's rare to get such a large away allocation and I've always thought the acoustics at their ground are excellent. Has potential to be a great day out when there isn't the stress of Prem points on the line.

Also lots of people just cannot break into the right points category for Prem away games this season so a chance for them to see Town on the road.

It will 100% sell out. I'm praying it inches to general sale on Tuesday.

or maybe there are people who recognise it's not super urgent to buy a ticket this time round and are leaving it a few days to decide whether to go or not... pretty normal really

Also Man Utd kids tickets are stupidly £25 (Liverpool was £9) so that combined with mid-week too possibly

Its currently at the 20+ points level.

Most of the, what you call "the “I just want to see Ipswich play away, I don’t mind who” crowd" are very unlikely to be in the bracket. More likely 10+ or 5+

So maybe stop with these posts until Friday/Monday

There's only S229 left - they're all in that section, the rest are sold out.

Given it’s only on sale to 20+ atm all this shows is that the hardcore attend every game camp don’t want to go when it’s lower league opposition

If there’s still loads available after they’ve got to general sale you’d have a point, but then there was a similar thread for the Bristol Rovers game when tickets were only on sale to members and that ended up being a sell out

180 or so for Man United still remaining, which is the most I've seen going to 15+ since the start of the season.

Definitely the midweek fixture has had an impact here. Understandably so, given the time off required to go to the match.

Good luck to those going for tickets tomorrow.
