While should have come in sooner (Muric was proving prone to error too often) Palmer seems to be causing some excitement but can't judge the player on such a limited number of Town starts. If he's a good as the fanbase seem to imply, and with the amount of games and points still available, then all you can add is we'll have a real good chance of making it and retaining EPL status.
Still miss Hladky in a way, (and while) not everyone thought he were immense or could let the team down every now and again, all times seemed solid and gained us several points over course of a season. |  | | |

I agree. One save in particular he gets down low really quickly, and we've seen Walton have balls go underneath him a few times in those positions.
It seems Palmer has the shot-stopping ability to rival Muric and better Walton. Need to see more of him to see if he will collect high balls as well as Muric(today was fairly ordinary on that front) , but I love Palmer's chutzpah, his insane saves today, and his communication with his defence ,(which is nonexistent with Muric).
I don't like to judge players after 2 games, for the good, or for the bad, but he has certainly thrown his cards on the table with that performance this afternoon.

As long as Palmer can continue make the saves he should make, can catch, pass to an Ipswich shirt and not make a mistake week in week out, with the odd brilliant save in amongst all of that then it will mean we have a better goalkeeper than what we previously had and may have a chance of staying up. | | | |
