I’m sure it’s going to be pretty uninspiring, but the level of mocking and whining is a joke. The Tories oversaw:
- 2 sovereign downgrades
- largest tax burden in living memory, yet most public services broken.
- so much national debt we are now paying more on debt than our education system.
I don’t think most people will begrudge further tax rises if it means they can see a doctor once in a while. The challenge for Labour is making sure that services do actually improve, otherwise the populists will continue to eat in to their support. | | | |
