How long are the FA going to keep hiding behind the excuse the semi finals are played at Wembley to help with the repayment of the new stadium, surely they must have recouped their money by now? It really takes the gloss off the final for me. Much preferred it when the semi finals were at Villa Park, Old Trafford etc… it’s all a bit crap now. | |

Having sat with the Citeh fans and heard their thoughts about games, they are very spoiled. They have had a long run of success, and don't strive for the success just soak it up. The commentators making excuses for the fans when showing the empty seats about the 80th minute was hilarious. |  |

It's bigger than ours I'd bet, plus they're often at Wembley, often have bigger games during a season their fans would prioritise
Ticket prices are the classic it's only 30quid...for a fraction of seats available, most will be paying 70quid at least, plus train travel another couple of hundred and Sunday is a total pita to travel anyway
It's like a 300-400 quid per person day out, to watch something you can stay local and watch in a pub as you've been the last umpteen times your team did the exact same thing,and spend a fraction of the money.
Wembley semi finals serve no fans of the game. The final should be special. | | | |

Yeah it certainly is. Getting to Wembley is a prize in itself that should be reserved for the final. Winning at Wembley should = walking up the steps to collect your trophy. Look at palace yesterday, great for them but they’ll be back in a month, losing to City and have nothing to show for it. |  | | |

All for moving the semis away from Wembley again, but would have been a bit annoyed if our game yesterday got moved to a Tuesday night simply because the stadium was already in use for an FA Cup semi-final.... although I assume they would tweak the scheduling to avoid that in the first place. | | | |
