I remember that person saying how they loved the way in which a large crowd could he hushed into silence in a moment for a period of remembrance.

Seemed almost fetishistic.

Am I right in thinking that thread doesn't exist anymore? 😔

Oh stop it. Try looking at the history of football clubs in this country.
Try and learn a bit about the world we live in before spouting forth with that tripe.

Whether you're religious or not (I'm not) - this seems a rather petty thing to get upset by.

There are millions of Catholics - I'm capable of being quiet for one minute to show respect to a global figure.

Did you sit, silently, in front of your telly?

I don't think I've said I partook in it - when I say it's not hard to tolerate I'm talking about for people in the ground or wherever a silence is taking place.

Personally - I'm no more fussed than I would be any stranger dying. However - I can understand why people might be.

Oh yes sorry Chris from Needham Market it is good of you to clarify that.

I think UEFA should put some adverts on during the minutes silence - might as well do something while you're doing nothing.

Pleased we've got the ground rules sorted, Christopher.; it is kind of you to let me bully you.

I subsequently expect you to present me with 2 bag in used notes in The Tuns tomorrow night before close, or I will drug you and drop your comatose body somewhere on the Barking Rd.

If you reply to this post I will bully you a lot worse.

Please don't make jokes in the vicinity of NeedyChris. Humour, levity and fun are all deeply offensive to his culture and are considered bullying of the worst kind.

If you're alluding to Arse v PSG last night, it's probably about being respectful hosts, bearing in mind the large % (47-88% in 2020, the upper figure including 'lapsed' RCs, accordng to Wiki) of France's population who are RC -
