Reckon they'll be all over town, home areas in the ground, in hospitality etc.? Got form for it, bank holiday weekend, last game of the season, and haven't had a league game here for ages (and won't again for at least a season). Might be quite annoying.

No chance. They hate their club right now.

I fear you may be on to something here, especially with the fact that the game is all but a dead rubber and there may be more tickets than usual changing hands behind the scenes.

You ain't a beauty but, hey, you're alright.

Expect you're right but there's been no trouble getting home tickets for most of this season and there's nothing riding on it for them, so wouldn't have thought they would be that desperate for tickets.

Going to feel like a pre season friendly innit.

It will be annoying, but I sat in the home end at their ridiculous stadium so can't really complain...

It will be a nightmare. I suggested to our lot that we book a table somewhere after the game and get a meal with alcohol delivered to our table....

My lot are going through some weird hostelry identity crisis where they like to go to a boring bar and drink beer they cannot pronounce.

I suspect after the game we will be in Bar 25 where i will be forced to drink Guinness as they don't sell real ale.

Prior to the game we will be in The Waterfront because going somewhere closer to the ground would be daft wouldn't it. They also don't sell real ales but the kindly landlady buys in some bottles of Southwold bitter for me.

Anything to get out of East London for a day I guess. A few David Moyes banners might cheer them up…

None of them live in the East London, they’ll all be getting the train from Chelmsford

We’ve had an email on hospitality side reminding us that away fans are not allowed in hospitality areas and if any tickets are for them they will refund us.

It’s never been a rule, just that they need to behave - the host comes in each week and asks if there are any away fans and does the usual “enjoy your meal and have a safe trip home”

Odd game to crack down on.

I'd have thought you'd want money from anyone willing to give it when it's a dead rubber.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

Suspect there will be enough of the irregular hammer fans around the ground, for a long while whilst we were in the Championship and especially after they moved to Stratford, and their tickets were quite cheap there were alot of them based in Ipswich, the station was always full of them when they played at home, some even held dual season tickets.

So I'm expecting them to be around for sure in home areas of our ground

If it bugs people so much, could always get the stewards to do their job and have them ejected.

It’s not hard. Just point them out.

Over the very long years of watching Town, West Ham have always had fans seated in all areas of Portman Road. They are easily the worst club for it. But it seeems to happen everytime we play them down here . Trouble is,most of them live round here. I’ve worked with loads of them over the years. Way more common than any other teams round these parts.

You think so? They’ve had a largely rubbish season. Can’t see them being that bothered. Unless they make a weekend of it in Felixstowe.

Do fans away fans go for a drink in town these days?

Chelsea chaps had packed out the Lord Nelson just before NYE when I had walked down for a beer from the Salthouse but most away fans don't seem to bother going past the station hotel do they, which incidentally all clubs seems to rave about! I find that quite funny.

I am sure the Essex WHU contingent will be having a beer on Sunday but can't imagine it will be a nightmare in this day and age!
