Can't find it now, but I was going to throw in a leftfield suggestion - silver.

When I was a kid I played for a team with a silver shirt. We were rubbish... but the best looking team in the league. Looked really classy.

Can't find a decent jpg of one to drop in here so it's obviously quite a rare colour for a football shirt, but I'd quite like to see us do something a bit different like that (particularly for the 3rd kit).

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Tbh, the pink one grew on me a lot, wasn't a fan at first.

I like single colour tops, hate the red/black stripes and the two tone greenish (Greene king) monstrosity from years gone by.

Flash - no, just no. We can’t have the lads running out looking like 11 tin men from the Wizard of Oz!!

Granted the NFL LV Raiders do look smart in their black kit with silver helmet etc.

An no, I don’t have a better idea.

If memory serves, my silver kit had very thin black vertical stripes to break it up, so it didn't look like the tin man, it genuinely looked classy. Wish I had a photo but this was like 40 years ago!

Newcastle had a silver away kit back in the 80's or 90's.

Unless my memory fails me and it was more of a grey.

That’s horrible. Looks grey.

Second strip: Orange. If not, white or that 1970s yellow with blue shorts yellow socks kit that always looked smart. Third kit black.

Bring back the orange and black stripes of the 1980's when we drew 2-2 with Sheffield Wednesday and Lee Chapman injured Mark Grew.

Man, am I getting old! 😂

The third kit should definitely be something different and gives license to do something a bit outside of the box. I’m surprised we didn’t get a third kit in the style of one of Ed’s paintings, the same as the last Call me ted design, as I think that would have probably outsold the pink, particularly to Ed’s fans

A silver kit sounds like a nightmare to wear for a night game, and just generally dull. Like when Man United wore that grey kit for half a match or something daft.

It looks grey because it is.

Similarly, cars which are described as 'silver' are grey. Even if you wrapped a car in Baco-foil with the shiny side out it would still be grey.

I assume that people call light grey cars 'silver' because it sounds less dull but they are grey.

Well you wouldn't have to wear it for a night game if it's a third kit, you'd wear it whenever you liked. And I'm not sure why it would be anymore of a nightmare than any other colour. Secondly, it's not grey, it's silver.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Unless colours other than black and white are added then silver is grey. It is made up of b/w. This is not an opinion.
If you had a computer then you could probably check online or something before talking rubbish.

Edit... And, btw, I have been to Specsavers 😊

That Newcastle kit above is silver and that looks horrendous in terms of visibility - whatever the weather. Not invisible, but I'll take a bright pink or orange over a silver.

Also, I didn't say it was grey? I said like when Man U wore grey and the players all complained so they changed and never wore it again. I think we'd have the same problem. How many times did we wear the black kit? I bet it wasn't much compared to the red/black number of the same year. Same as we've tended to wear the pink over the maroon this year. It's got to help, to pick your head up to spot a pass and be able to see your teammates immediately.

TL;DR Silver sounds like a crap colour for a fast-moving game

This might not be the most popular suggestion but I wouldn't mind a third kit in a "non-Norwich" shade of green - mint, or dark green. Have wanted a pink kit for a while but hoped for something closer to the shade Palermo use. Also a big fan of the Deportivo gold anniversary kit

I have a soft spot for kits where the shirts, shorts and socks are all different colours, (e.g Brazil, Manchester United, Rangers, Portsmouth.) I wish more clubs would do this for their away kits, - e.g. brown shirts, white shorts, light blue socks. (In the lower leagues at least, you do see this occasionally when teams wear their home socks with their away kits to avoid the socks clashing.

Conversely, I don't like one-colour away kits. Town's all-orange would have been FAR better if it had been orange shirt, white shorts, brown socks! I guess what I'm saying is I like kits that look like they might normally belong to a Rumanian second division team.

Silver has a metallic shiny quality, whereas grey is flat. I had a shirt that was the former.

From AI: "Silver is a metallic color, often perceived as a shiny, reflective shade of gray. Grey, on the other hand, is a neutral color, a mixture of black and white, without the inherent shine of silver."

Here's a silver object;

Here's a grey one;

I can't believe we're even having this discussion.
