If he wants to stay here and be a bit part player and maybe play in the prem again then he’ll sign an extension. If he wants a move and isn’t going to sign an extension then £7million seems like a decent price for a player who will leave for free at the end of the season | | | |

I see Broadhead as more versatile and impactful. Clarke and Philogene are exclusively wide imo.
I know he's not favoured here but with Hirst tremendously unlikely to play more than 60% of games with no obvious replacement, it feels an error. | |

I love Broady, I think he makes things happen but given the context:
- Last year of contract
- Realistically a squad player
- It's somewhere he himself might want to go live
- 7m is decent money for a 27 year old in the Champ.
I think we would have to take it.
If Hutch ends up going for 40m and we get 7m for Broady we can get a number 10 in for 20m+ who will be quality in this division.

Philogene has been proven in this league, he was arguably the best winger in the division the year we went up when he was playing on the left for Hull. |  |

This isn't really true though, both Clarke and Philogene were very effective at this level in the same season, both had better overall stats.
Broady is class, but that doesn't mean you can dismiss the evidence to make a point.

Both Clarke and Jaden outperformed him in terms of attacking output when they were last all in the Championship together, with both of them playing for weaker teams than us. | |
