I get all the be patient, signings will come, etc but we have looked appalling in these last 2 games. No heart, not fighting for the badge. The players who once responded to a Morsy rally cry don't look bothered. I worry the reports Leif is happy to stay, but a couple more of these performances before end August and he may well be keen on a PL offer.

Absolutely spot on. We were relegated basically in February, it’s not like he’s not had sufficient time. Yes, there’s still some time left, but the games between now and when the window closes are worth the same amount of points as those later in the season.
Relying on players like Taylor, Humphreys, Ali & even Barbrook when we’re a club with parachute payments & selling Delap for good money, isn’t good enough. | | | |

It's not good to be relying on as many 'League 1 hero's' as we have to start the season, that's for sure. Considering we spent 130-140M last year and we are a parachute club!
At least our fans want Travis back though!
Our recruitment has been really suspect in multiple positions, I pray for them more than me that Philogene becomes really good for us.

We also have replaced fighters with bottlers imo. We hand-picked players who, 2 years ago, weren't good enough for their respective teams to even make the playoffs when we finished on 96 points. | | | |

Personally I agree, if he was that good he would be at higher levels previously.
I've said to a few people for a while, he reminds be of the top sales guy at work that win's one amazing account that lives off that success a while.
He got KM so right and that's been the main reason we have gone to the heights we have but recruitment and closing deals we just seem a bit out of our depth at times. Just my opinion. I think we need a much bigger more expansive team to compete in that area. I don't know the actual set up though in detail. | |
