A decent window if so, but a lack of depth when it comes to covering/competing with Matusiwa. Feel like we one more CM in.

Also not sure about trying to get through the half of the season with Baggott as fourth choice CB. He should be out on loan and Caceres in. And if we complain about lack of finances, the signing of McAteer is the most baffling of them all. And then putting ourselves in a position where we have to sell Woolfenden for the third of the price for O'Shea, without add ons.

Some good signings. But a lack of logic as well.

Think we are slightly imbalanced
Dutch lad gets injured we have no real replacement. And we have not had a good winger since Burns hopefully they will improve ten fold.

All down to McKenna and the players now. We know who've got, where we are. It's been a good window, I'm not 100% with some of the logic behind it but we've still got absolute minimum top 6 squad.

January could see a few more tweaks.

I'm ok about Baggott. The boy is almost 23 and has looked good when fit. It'd take two or three significant injuries for him to be needed in any case. Am very much with you on the cover for Matusiwa's position though, and let's see how hard Azon can push Hirst up top.

Apologies Phil, thought you were waiting to see if we could sneak Isak in under the noses of Liverpool.

I'm slightly concerned by Woolf going with no senior replacement. Feels like we're hoping we don't get a CB injury to one of the main three. Furlong out of position is a gamble. Baggott also a gamble although if McKenna thinks he's good enough...

Truly impaired.

It's a bloody hard division. We can't underestimate that. This is as close as a Prem 2 as there has been in recent years.

Just lacking back up to Matusiwa. The 3 others look a bit lightweight.
Cajuste and Nunez are a bit injury prone. Think Taylor might be called upon more than we hoped.

A CM away in my opinion. Disappointing if we don’t get one more in to cover.

Cajuste and Nunez are not lightweight. Did you see cajuste fending off players on Saturday

Ipswich have lost their 2 best players
Southampton have lost their 2 best players
Leicester are losing players and a facing a points deduction

In terms of quality this seasons championship is poor

I thought he pretty much confirmed we were done barring any sales. Only one I could see was a replacement for Woolfy but once Caceres wasn't happening, seemed less likely. Good for Baggott that he's viewed as fourth-choice centre-half.

Of dozens of players on the pitch? Seemed way more cryptic to me than genuinely interesting.

We desperately need a striker.

Another one? We’ve already got Hirst, Azon and Akpom as recognised strikers. Even if Akpom is used as a 10, he’s played a lot of his career as a striker. Plus some of the 10s could fill in an emergency.

Hirst is 7-12 goals
Azon could be anything
Akpom isn't really a striker, but could do a job maybe.

Certainly don't think wanting another recognised striker is OTT.
